Armor Kits?

I know this has been asked many times, but no one seems to give/get an answer to this question.

I have been going through multiple TRs. I want the ability to use my armor kit on any/all armor I wear through leveling up.

I read that this was possible, but I tried this out on a junk set I purchased. I went to the store and bought the removal kit and used it. It took everything away....

I know that the description says just that.

Did I do it wrong?
Is there a way to do it at all?

And if the answer is no, then why would you get charged 10 TP to destroy an armor kit that you paid 550 TP for?

I would like to think I did it wrong:(
From my testing of this, It doesn't seem right....

You have to buy the kit seperately for each armour you want to use.

You have to pay 10tp for the right to put another skin on or to unbind it so you can sell it/mail it.

Yes, when the player base asks for armor customization and armor dyes, this is the best we can get, expensive skins.:(

The change they made is:


Armor appearance kits and cosmetic helmets/hats are maintained after reincarnation.

From what I understand this means is that when you reincarnate the kits stay on the items. Not that you can transfer them to another item.
