My Medium Gem bag won't empty

i have a sort of problem.

I knew I had just picked up some gems. So i went to the vendor.
I pressed sell gems and nothing happened. So i pressed it again and 2 messages popped up one above the other :-
1) You have 0 gems
2) You sold XX gems for 62pp

Then I immediately checked my medium gem bag and it was STILL full of gems?
So I tried to drag some gems out of my bag to the normal inventory slots. It would not transfer the gems.
So I tried pressing sell gems at the vendor again and it says you have no gems to sell.
Even though my medium gem bag is open on screen full of gems......

anyone had this happen before?

The lag in selling, banking, etc. has been terrible the last couple days. That's probably what you're dealing with. I'd just wait until they disappear. It should 'only' take a couple minutes. :rolleyes:

Yep, I had this happen either Monday or Tuesday night this week. It does indeed sell the gems and once the server catches up with itself they will be gone from the bag.

But, I have noticed a very large increase in lag at the bank, AH and vendors as well. At prime time on my server it sometimes takes up to 4 minutes just to open my back :(

How many gem bags do you have? Seen this when you have more than one because it takes a while to scan each bag and decide what to do.......

i have a medium gem bag and a small gem bag. that makes 2 bags i guess.

Last night I tried to put something onto AH. I click "post" button and nothing happened. Try to click it again, but it is grayed out. Close inventory, close AH window, reopen AH window. Try to post same item again. Same thing. I figured it was just bad lag, closed the UI and went about doing other things. Maybe a minute later "Auction successfully posted!" popped in General tab. I checked with AH and sure enough, it was there.

No such absurdity posting things on AH this morning. I guess Turbine's database hit a bottleneck last night.

I had the same thing happen a couple days ago, and it confused me too. I sold my gems, but one of my gem bags was still full. Tried selling again, and the game said I didn't have any gems to sell even though I could still see them in my bag. I closed the vendor window and my bags, waited a moment and opened them again. This time my bag was empty. Like others said, it was apparently just a lag issue, but it was confusing when it happened.
