Pale lavender DOES upgrade. Other stones do NOT upgrade. I'm guessing that turbine put in code specifically for old-school pale lavenders, since it was the only useful stone before and didn't want people getting scammed.

I just simply do not understand why they keep screwing over ‘old’ loot. Really was it so overpowering to not allow upgrading of all the original Ioun stones?

Clearly it was possible since it went live, but then you nerfed it, without any good reason as usual :rolleyes:
