What the heck happened to my Intimidate?

I used to be able to intimidate monsters. It worked like a charm. Then, recently, I couldn’t get their attention. I was baffled. I thought about it for hours. Somehow I was no longer a threat. They just weren’t scared of me anymore. I wondered if they switched game mechanics or something. I just couldn’t understand why my intimidate skill wasn’t working anymore.

Then it dawned on me.

I’m wearing a pink dress now. I used have some fierce looking spiked steel armor coated in lethal acid. Then I found out armor class doesn’t work anymore. So I bought a robe…

…I put on…

…and now I look like a complete sissy holding a couple swords. I suppose the dragon can use those swords as toothpicks when she gets me stuck between her teeth. So much for intimidate. I’m pretty sure I saw a couple ogres chuckling at me.

Welcome to Update 9, where the group of people doing their level best to kill an enemy actually draw more aggro than the guy yelling obscenities from behind a shield.

Intimidate gives you actual threat instead of just premature aggro. You are gonna have to be hittting the mob a little bit to maintain aggro if some else is hitting it.
