Does your DDO character look like your Dad???!!!

I sort of wonder why todays rpgs always have really chunky sort of ugly male characters.
Especially the human males (half orcs for sure always look ugly).
But I wonder if somehow Turbine drew them that way so it would appeal to guy players who think of Male Role Models and can only think of their Dad!!!!!

So a lot of guys today look like this :-

Nope, the only human character I've made is black to befit his name of Stagolee (variation of Stagger Lee).

Also, they are adventurers, most of them are going to well built just from lugging around all that gear while fighting monsters and such. Of course they would be stocky.

My Sorcerer lugs around close to 300lbs of potions, components, scepters and wands, and so forth. Constantly. While running, swimming, jumping, and hurling great fiery balls. And occasionally whacking things all upside the head with an incredibly large sword. She's got to be built for that. :P

Most of mine look like ex girl-friends actually. Occasionally I'll do one just based on an attractive woman I see.

i never thought about making one look like an ex. has to be a good way to get some aggression out.
