I have a level 19 Paly that I just made a first Greensteel Greataxe. What would be the best combination for the Greataxe. I have close to 500hp and really rarely use any spells. I have a cleric that is level 20 and between them I have tons of smalls, meduims and quite a few larges, enough I think to do a great build. I just dont know what to do. Any thoughts?

for pally it is going to be a Holy/ shock burst/ shockblast+goodblast (lightning II)
http://perfectweb.org/ddo/crafting/base_crafting.php
is a good resource
remember, you want BOTH shockblast and goodblast in the tier three (you have to double imbue a shard, the guide will tell you what to do)
this results in the vaunted "lit II" greataxe (though, IMO, falchion is better, personal preference)
endproduct:
+5 3d6 base damage greataxe with holy, shock burst, shock blast
extra effect- ~2%, ~ 650 lightning damage

also, remember, for Epic Lailat, and hard/elite Horoth/Arraetrikos, you want to use your holysword spell :]

That is actually what I have been using, but I thought with the upgraded greeensteel greataxe that it would replace it because of the better damage and holy burst and blast on it.

well, definately make a LIT II first, it will get more damage then the other "nice" greensteel (min II) on almost all non bosses, and on pit fiends on normal (overwhelming majority of ToD and Shroud will be on normal).
usually, on a paladin, people dont bother making a min II, seeing as your holysword is a convenient DR breaker that only gets a smalish percentage less damage/swing. (i did a calc once, i can do it again if you are really curious).
but if you dont feel like making greensteel equipments, and have larges to burn after making the lit II, you can get a min II which is: (i assume you want a greataxe?)
holy/acid/acid+holy
result-
+5 3d6 basedamage, holy, acid burst, acid blast
extra effects- Slicing (1d4 bleed damage), metalline
breaks almost all dr, and is pretty nice, but again, you have the holy sword for that, and this isnt ahead by thaaaat much, id advise making lit II, then hp greensteel, then weapons for other characters you might get, then min II for a paladin (of course on a non paladin its a bit more of an issue)

Hi!
And yes, wait, remember to craft a Double Positive Maul. It is cheap and will grant you one no-fail Raise Dead Clickie. I said no-fail because I am assuming you are UMD-ing rez scrolls.
Edit: It would be great for Lich and Skeleton Beating
Cheers!

this too, dont bother triple-posing it, not really necessary unless you plan doing a lot of epic wizking
