Unable to purchase level 85 airship.

Can we get an idea if this issue is on the known list and if there some work been done to correct the problem?

Vordrik D'lyrandar will not accept Astral Diamonds, so that we can purchase the upgrade to the Stormglory Typhoon. We currently have a Windspyre Gryphon, and Vordrik tells us when we attempt to deposit AD towards the Typhoon that: "Your guild already has the best airship we offer here on Xen'drik. There is no purpose to you depositing any more resources.

Same problem here, tho we are still lvl 84, we cant put in bank AD. Elfs keep saying that we have the best ship in whole of Xendrik....

We have the level 85 ship in Captain's Crew on Ghallanda, but we got it before the last couple updates so maybe something messed up with them....:(

The renown scoreboard [1] showed you dropped below 85, do you keep the ship or does it downgrade?

Are we likely to see input on this?

Particularly with the AD sale, it would be nice to know if this issue is on the next update fix list, or it's an unqualified low priority issue and we will not see any action for 3-6 months.

(If it isn't) I recommend that anyone affected by this bug submit a bug report while you're logged into the game with a character that should be able to buy the upgrade, while the character is standing in front of Vordrik. When you submit a bug report within the game, a great deal of specific information is also provided, which can assist with the research of the bug. ;)

Thanks for your response. I had already posted a bug report via the web interface, but did not see a ticket/tracking number back. I have now also posted a bug report via the in-game interface.

I will also ask others affected by this to post a bug report, so Turbine can see that it's not a one off issue.

Potentially any guild over 80 and maybe 55 will not be able to deposit AD for the level 85 airship.

As this directly affects a revenue stream (ie no need to buy TP specifically for AD since you cant use them for the single most expensive AD purchase) for Turbine I would hope for a speedy resolution...

Plus I want my hot tub goshdarnit...

Just a note. Got a PM from my bug (Bug 73900) report that this is now a known issue and that: "We are aware of the issue which you have reported to us and it is currently under investigation."

Hopefully it's an easy fix - they can compare the difference between Captain's Crew's successful purchase and any chances since then.

Have also submitted a bug report on Thelanis so now its a server wide issue.

Is there any way to find out what is happening with this? Is it fixed and waiting for a patch? On the list with zero priority, or somewhere in between?

We will hit guild level 90 in a few more days along with our first birthday, it would make a nice present to be able to upgrade to the ship we should have had 5 levels ago.

We're still working on this bug. When we have news, we'll post it. Patch notes are probably a good place to keep an eye for this sort of fix.

If a patch for this issue is not forthcoming in the near term, 3-4 weeks say, is it possible to consider some sort of in-game downgrade of our existing airship?

We would be happy to downgrade to the lvl 50 airship. Deposit the AD for the lvl 85 airship, buy the lvl 80 airship (again), then do the final upgrade to the lvl 85 airship.
