Update 9.1 mentions you can deconstruct shards, but I haven't figured out how yet. I tried putting them in the deconstruction device but no options to proceed showed up. Can anyone explain this to me please?

Take shard out of bag. put shard inside deconstruction device. Make sure to have both the green and yellow deconstruction item in your inventory (outside a bag) when you do so. The recipe to deconstruct should appear.
When you deconstruct it, you will recieve the same ingredients as if you had put the shard on a blank and deconstructed the blank. Huge time saver.

I've noticed since the update some recipes no longer autoselect and as such, no "deconstruct" button.
Put shard in device.
Add either yellow or green bottle.
Click on recipe.
Click on deconstruct.

for the past couple of days on at least 3 characters I have no deconstruct button. I try different items and still no button. I did submit a bug report on it. Is anyone else seeing this too?

There is an extra step now, same for crafting shards, you actually have to select the recipe in the window (even if there is just one) for the button to appear.

I found it nice when deconstructing though. Put shard in device, click recipe, and as long as the ingredients are in the inventory it auto fills to the device.
