Light damage defense?

Is there any item, skill, spell, feat, etc. to protect against light damage? Mainly looking for a way to defend against divine punishement apart from jumping into the pit and killing the cleric/FvS when he is not looking.

Not directly no.

You may want to try use a Spell Absorbtion item to evade being hit by the spell in the first place. Otherwise, carry the Korthos Item that casts bless, since it will remove the effect from you straight away.

There is the scarab, mantle and ion stone, for spell absorbation, right? I am not sure that that would work very well. The scarab is a 50 use thing and it destroyed permently, the ion stone is rare, and the mantle only carries 5 charges.

bless removes divine punishment? hmm. good to know. i thought it only countered and removed bane

Bless removes the stacking Shield of Condemnation debuff, not Divine Punishment.

So no, there isn't any defence against it, apart from avoiding it completely.

Epic phiarlan mirror cloak, pale lavender ioun stone, mantle of the worldshaper (mirro gives spell absorption AND light resistance) so that is probably the best. Pale lavenders mainly work well vs divines, unless the divine (like mine) has meteor swarm clicky.

No. Bless doesn't work against DoT's.

Break enchantment does but you have to make a caster level check (1d20 + caster level, maximum +15) against a DC of 11 + caster level or something like that... In other words it doesn't work all the time.

Use break Enchantment and roll like 14 or higher i think.
