This shows how we really are total geeks. One more reason not to pipe off about how god you are at DDO. All it means is you're the king of geeks like this.

Pretty funny though.

Did someones feelers get hurt because I admitted the fact that we who play this game are geeks. Ty for the neg rep. Too bad it hurts you to admit the truth that we are geeks. Own up to it you'll feel better once you admit to it.

First time I saw that. And I am highly amused :)

True story: I was captain of the football team in HS, and played mah metal music. But *always* found time for our gaming sessions.

I should have looked before I started posting. TY for all the bumps on reps. I tried to bump back but I'm out for the day. I'll throw some more out tomorrow when I'm off timer. Again TY to all for the bounce.

Sorry, you forgot the following disclaimer for this board as they don't think players understand:

D6 is slang for a six-sided die that can roll a number from one to six.

When you roll (drop) the die, there are 6 possibilities:

1
2
3
4
5
6

From WordIQ (http://www.wordiq.com/definition/D6)

Dice (the plural of the word die, probably from the Latin dare: to give) are, in general, small polyhedral objects with the faces marked with numbers or other symbols, thrown in order to choose one of the faces randomly.

The most common dice are small cubes 1-2 cm across, whose faces are numbered from one to six (usually by patterns of dots or pips), with opposite sides totalling seven. Numbers 1, 2 and 3 can be set either in clockwise or in counterclockwise direction.

In Unicode, the faces of common cubical dice are:

⚀ ⚁ ⚂ ⚃ ⚄ ⚅

Dice are thrown to provide (supposedly uniformly distributed) random numbers for gambling and other games (and thus are a type of hardware random number generator); however, because the numbers on toy dice are marked with small indentations, slightly more material is removed from the higher numbered faces. This results in a small bias, and they do not provide fair (uniform) random numbers. Casino dice have markings that are flush with the surface and come very close to providing true uniformly distributed random numbers.

Dice are thrown, singly or in groups, from the hand or from a cup or box designed for the purpose, onto a flat surface. The face of each die that is uppermost when it comes to rest provides the value of the throw. A typical dice game today is craps, wherein two dice are thrown at a time, and wagers are made on the total value of up-facing spots on the two dice. They are also frequently used to randomize allowable moves in board games such as Backgammon.

'Nother +1 for you. That was hilarious.

However, I call shenanigans. And fraud. Or something.

These were not true roleplayers.

First of all, they were indeed playing 4E, which, as a Wizards of the Coast product, automatically disqualifies it as a "roleplaying game" and moves it into the "board game" category. You know, like Monopoly.

Also, any gamer worth their salt knows Mountain Dew is the soda of choice for any worthwhile D&D session. Coke....fah!

Gotta give 'em credit for the viewpoint that Levi's jeans are somehow easily obtainable in the Forgotten Realms tho...or wherever they were sposed to be...

Much geeky humor. And to the person that negged Disavowed for this thread...

The truth doesn't have to hurt! Embrace your geekiness! You're already obviously on the way, as you've registered to post on a forum about a Dungeons and Dragons-based video game...thats BIG geek. You're a GEEK. admit it. Revel in it.
