New to game and learning, experimenting with classes, having a blast.
I'm intrigued by the idea of a dual-wielding long sword monk (if I understand with whirling steel feet monk stays balanced?)
Also, I read recently in a post that only monk's get the full str damage bonus even on offhand?
Yet, I've been searching around and haven't seen a build like this.
Has anyone tried this? Would love to see, maybe a few fighter splash for extra feats to up the dps?

You could build it sure, but its not a new idea.
It has flaws.
*Unarmed get full str bonus to offhand (and only monks get flurry of blows) But not 100% sure on this.
*Unarmed attacks are faster. (12% or so)
*Pure monk at level 20 would have 2d20 fists vs. 1d8 longswords.
*You have to burn a feat or two to get WSS
*going Dark monk you can get prof. with shortswords taking the ninja pre. (or just use kama's)
Usually IF WSS is used in a build, it's a multi-type build, (i have a WSS clonk myself) and i use fistwraps more often.
Perhaps a 18/2 FVS/monk longsword wielding elf?

Monks are the only class that can get full strength bonus to offhand because monks are the only class that can fight with handwraps to punch and kick. If there was an Improved Unarmed Strike feat available to all characters (like there should be), then anyone could get 100% offhand strength.
A monk with a weapon in the left hand won't get full strength.

There are some slim reasons for a Monk to use longswords, but they're not based on doing damage with them. Handwraps are better than longswords, and if you're a dark monk then shortswords are also better than longswords (because they are free to learn and hit more)

Not quite, but that would be nice. :) The 20th level Monk is 2d10 with fists. I believe that it goes to 2d12 with the Garments or Earth stance Jidz-teka. The Garments and the bracers *do not* stack.

horc would prob be the worst choise for a longsword build
what you are looking for is some kinda healing amp build though they took a hit with u9 fixing fists of light
you can still get some idea's though from the solar phoenix build ( not sure it still uses swords)

These are the reasons to only use handwraps as a monk. If you want a character that uses longswords, I suggest a different class.

not entirely monk. but itll work.
it gets ftr feats, haste boost, 100% offhand chance hit, 5hp from monk turtle, kensai I, tempest II.
if u wanna go full monk, use handwraps and never use anything else.
