U9 Diplo for monks

Working on a pure dex/wis dark monk (half elf w/ rogue dilly). I have been using diplomacy alot to always get my sneak attacks. I'm just wondering if anyone has some experiance yet with the new diplomacy, and can it still be used reliably this way.
