Hacked account

While i was offline someone hacked my account, long story short i got my account back( singlehandedly might i add) and i submitted the ticket and got one response from a GM, nothing after that so after many failed attempts to communicate with said GM i submitted a second ticket to retieve the current status of my ticket. A senior GM responded by informing me that it was still open and was being investigated by the fraud team. that was 12 hours ago and now im wondering how long it takes to read that info and confirm it was hacked. well my comment box is now closed and has been since about 5pm yesterday so how do i find this out without irritating the ppl that are "helping" me

They'll answer you when they're done, posting on the forums doesn't make it happen any faster.

It could be an hour or a week, but they will respond to you.

Judging from other threads, the investigation can take a while. There is a guide that might give you some help, though since you already got your account back half the guide dosent help. :D

as one of the survivors of a hacked account, i know the frustration you feel. I got hacked MONTHS ago, and it took me over a week to regain control of my account. Turbine is horrible in it's response to hacked accounts. They lag on this worst than toons climbing the stairs in part one of the shroud. It can take over a week, minimum, till you can log on. then you have to go thru each toon and submit a ticket, to be ignored for at least another week. Then they will give you a promise to help you out. Which then they will go back to the default position of ignoring you. Then in frustration you will try to contact them about every other week via email/forum/ingame/phone/etc.. each time you will be ignored for at least a week or told that they can't help you in that department and they have no contact or idea who can help you. Welcome to the frustration that is having been hacked on DDO and realizing that Turbine has 0 customer service. I think we need to have a support group of those of us who have had this happened.

oh I wont get over it. i worked hard on those toons....about a years worth of work and had some items i cannot get again.

Comparing Druids to your account being hacked is comparing apples to firearms..

Is Turbine slow in this area? Yes

Is Turbine at fault for your account being hacked? Most likely not

Own the problem and your pain will be less.
