This is a support/spot healing focused build using renewable resources such as Turn Undead, Songs and Dragonmarks
while having epic viable Perform based crowd control.

Class Split
12 Levels of bard for Virtuoso II, CC abilities that aren't weakened by multiclassing, useful buffs and healing over time with regenerating songs.
7 Levels of cleric are for maximizing the effectiveness of Positive Energy Burst without sacrificing VirtII
1 Level of wizard to get an extra feat for quicken.

Healing capabilities

Positive Energy Burst
Regenerating turns, only 1 less attempts compared to a pure cleric. (probably higher with maxed charisma)
19 uses with a +6 CHA item, 21 with Lesser turning and +2 Exceptional CHA.
Amplified by cleric enhancements, Ardor item and empower/maximize.
8d8+8 * 1.3 * 1.75 * 3=avg. 300 on regular, 750 on crits

Dragonmarks
Most available free charges of CLW, CSW and Heal at your service.

Sustaining Song
Heal over time effect almost for free with regenerating songs.

Effective scroll healing
High UMD with Wand & Scroll Mastery III

If all these are out, you can still fall back on your SP pool for effective single target healing.

Crowd Control
Enthrall, Music of Dead and Makers, Song of Capering with a base Perform of 40.
Best way to avoid incoming damage.

I like the concept of this build; I've done clerics and I have a virtuoso already- never thought about mixing them though.

Does the 7th lvl of cleric give you anything? I'm wondering if a 12 bard / 6 cleric / 2 rogue build would be viable. (rogue for traps & evasion) I can't have a build without evasion. :)

I may pop this into the char builder and see how it looks lol - thanks for the idea and good luck building it!

edit: btw you need toughness.... I'd drop the extra turning feat for toughness myself. Goal for end game should really be to have at least 400hp

Cleric 7 unlocks useful enhancements such as extra turning, life magic and higher crit chance, also an additional 1d8+1 healing to bursts. 400 HP is not that hard to achieve as these are naked stats and you don't need DPS gear. If you want a higher base health I'd swap quicken for toughness, but 14 starting WIS is also not necessary.
Evasion is nice on high DEX builds but this one has a quite low reflex save. Best you can do is turtle up behind a shield with resist energy on and spam diplo

Can the build afford the AP cost though?

Toughness just by itself is only 22 HP. Unless you can afford the additional AP for HP, it isn't worth it.

All the enhancements are useful, but not vital. You can get some free AP from Wand mastery and Imp. Perform. Feats are an other thing though, I wouldn't want to give up on 4 bursts for 40-60 HP, but go for it if you feel too fragile.

Pity can't squeeze in 1 more level of bard. That would give greater heroism and mass cure light wounds...

Big deal, any other Wiz, Bard or even Sorc can give Greater Hero, satisfy the crowd with Good Hope (mass and cheaper;)).
When Single target healing is not enough, that's when you throw in bursts so you can live without CLW:Mass too

You could just build a full bard that could heal and it would be better IMO. I have healed epics on my bards before. In good groups me + cleric is enough for things like shroud. It could work in dedicated groups, but I think you will have trouble getting into pugs and raids.

Yeah, you can also be like everyone else

Being different doesn't make you better. Best of luck really. Let me know how this build works out for you. If you have fun with it than cool. I have a healing amp paladin whos dps is bad but I enjoy the toon. I think you'll find you will be angry when you can not get into groups. Maybe you don't pug so it isn't an issue.

I am curious, how would you heal part 4 and 5 of shroud?

Staying on Sarlona only because of my guild so yeah, I'm questing more with guildies. Sarlona seems to be the emptiest at lv12-17 anyway. Plus I know this won't be the best, but there is a lot less challenge to min/max builds

"Min-Max" implies that you're giving up something that you feel is unimportant (e.g., "min"-ing) so that you can max out something else. That isn't the case in deciding to choose another build. A pure heal-specced spellsinger or even a standard cleric or FvS will basically just be better than your build in every way. You just really aren't bringing anything to the table.

I am sacrificing Bard levels (which doesn't affect cc capability) for better and more durable AoE healing. Being a one trick pony doesn't have much sense especially for a support class

Except for the fact that you aren't. Radiant bursts are not a complete substitute for mass heal/mass cures. Without at least one additional to cycle between, you will not be able to perform the role of a healer in a raid.

Also note that radiant bursts may be fixed in U9 to only count cleric levels. If that happens, the effectiveness of your bursts would be more than cut in half.

This amuses me.

A good half of EW's active players TRed or rerolled new toons within the past week and a half, including myself TRing McPhail Friday night. He's 13, and most of the others are in the 11-14 range. None of us have had the slightest issues joining quests, or grabbing a couple of Pugs if we feel like being social.

Good luck on the build - seems neat at least at first sight. That 40 is without a +15 Item or Charisma Skills GS or anything, right? If so, at least that much seems all right. UMD also seems to be at the appropriate level.

May want to make Wizard 19 and make Bard your 20th level, just to end out on a high note, skills-wise.

Personal opinion - Music of the Dead/Makers are overrated. But this is just me. I know some Bards that swear by them.
