I know there are many duplicate threads of this but I was simply wondering what some people would come up for this if druids were a real class in DDO

I assume there will be a long development of 3 prestiges.
One will push in the shapechanging, probably only available if you take the prestige. First tier being something that gives a minor boost to stats and has a decent natural weapon, like a wolf. Second tier being something more like a panther. Third tier being something powerful like a bear.
Another will push the summoning aspect of Druids and possibly some nature based skills/abilities. This would proably allow you to summon nature's ally much better, possibly require the feat augment summoning. Also it may allow you to summon a familiar, based upon the tier of the prestige.
The third will push in combat casting, boosting the spell damage. Simple enough, no real explanation for this.

Enhancement - shoot lightning bolts from your eyes when in bear form.
Hoverbear
Enhancement - You are a proud member of the hoverbear cavalry and are immune to all knockdown/movement impeding effects. You also float.

Druids will never be in game.
They promise them to quiet the forums, then later state...next year.
they have said next year 4 years in a row.
Druids = vaporware

I know this is a semi-Necro, but why the heck not:
Shifter/Master of Many Forms - This seems like the most solid guesstimate. A PrE that focuses on being a better shapeshifter, possibly to make druid a better melee. I expect a 5 teir progression. Also, due to the issues with shapeshifting, and the need to potentially create new models just to make this work, this will likely be the *last* PrE introduced.
Verdant Lord - The healer PrE, focused on Heal Over Time spells (e.g. Rejuvenation - Can't seem to find a google link to the actual spell descriptions from 3.5). Side bonus of plant-like immunities, and perhaps boosts to some other kinds of spellcasting.
Beastlord - Summoner. This seems iffy, as summoning is renown for how *weak* it is. However, being able to buff up both summons and possible animal companion, and maybe being able to have stackable short-term (Short cooldown, but also short duration, can have 1 or more short-term summons out in addition to standard 10 minute summon and companion) summons for very specific purposes (Mobile DoTs if you will, or perhaps mobile buff/heal/cc/whatever a-la Unicorns, Treants, etc). This path would likely be a good buffer, as well.
Other Possibilities:
Planar Shepard - An Eberron specific druid prestige. Ability to call upon various planar effects and abilites, wildshape into creatures from a chosen plane, or even summon spheres of planar influence (A-la Prisoner of the Planes). Offensive caster/debuffer niche.
Storm Lord - Make it rain, make it rain! Obviously this guy is all about lightning, rain, sleet, snow, winds and ruining a good picnic. Offensive caster niche.
Blighter - The Anti-Druid, what Blackguard is to Paladin. Seems unlikely, and would require a lot of coding i would expect. Would basically be an entire prestige class based around Horrid Wilting :D
King/Queen of the Wild - Just... more... druidyness i guess?
Oozemaster - Cause theres always room for Gelatinous Cubes!

Actually, if I were a Dev, I'd use the following:
Gatekeeper -- Casting focused, grants special abilities against Aberrations.
Ashbound -- Shapeshifting and combat focused
Wardens of the Wild -- Summoning focused.
Same basic breakdown of powers, but the names fit the lore better.

They would have 2 lines
Shifter and Storm Lord
but druids are vaporware....puff, nothing there.......so, I will play with crafting for now.
