Guilds and Character Copy

When you copy to Lammania, you are guildless. Easy fix, is to create a guild.

Unfortunately, there is only a level 1 option.

Please provide either some sort of guild leveling mechanism, or have a server wide guild that all characters auto join, or have an in-game-mail invitation.

There needs to be a mechanism to utilize min-guild-level equipment a character might have, as well as a mechanism to utilize the guild vendors.

I would imagine a level 25 guild would meet the needs of most people ...

I believe its less of a matter of testing the features, but to have access to similar things they may or may not have access to on live, thus better testing the content they want us to test.

Then replace the word TEST with PREVIEW. It's a little of both, otherwise, why have a preview server?

They claim to have fixed my broken L80 ship. I'd like to preview the new hookpoint layout that doesn't include hookpoints inside of walls, off the edge of the ship, and in the middle of floors.

Of the hundreds of people who showed up for events yesterday where I was giving out XP, spell swap potions, and plat for use in the auction house, many people asked for something that was not one of those three things, but not one asked for guild XP.

There are two more events scheduled for today (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=309993), and players who ask for guild XP can get it.

It's a minor thing but it would be nice if there wasn't too much hassle involved to set up some kind of guild xp equivalent of the TP guy. Just because I too had gear with min guild lvl on it I couldn't use on a copied char. No biggy, it'd just make the experience less bumpy.

My sorceror, which you kindly bumped to 20, didn't have a guild equipment issue. I specifically logged him on to get the spell swap potions. My PM, on the other hand ...

No it isn't a huge deal - all things considered; but it does make it somewhat more difficult to do an apples-to-apples comparison.

Edit: It appears I missed you this AM, will come by a pester you for the afternoon event.

Oh drat! Missed all the events. I'd created a new HORC friday (I think?) but decided it was a hassle to level it to any reasonable level soon so I went back to live. I thought crafting wasn't going to be released yet so I didn't even think of checking the crafting discussion.

I would love to take part in future lama events, could you please drop a note in the main Lama forum for those of us who are dense, preoccupied or just plain unlucky?

Wow, I feel completely silly for not thinking of that. :D I am glad that you and Warmachine set up The Twins (level 100 guild) for those of us who forgot to ask for guild XP. It really makes you appreciate having a guild airship when you have to run a toon without teleport around the map. Thanks again for the XP/Gold/Spell Swap Event and the Dragons/Maralith/Pit Fiend demo monsters to test out spells in the PvP areas!
