I'm 99% sure I'm going to do this and would like some help. It's my 1st toon and I've pretty much butchered it in learning the game, but still enjoy him and want to make it better. Bascially what I'm looking for is high HP, THF/TWF, and to deal a lot of damage (crit or otherwise).
Also, how does Reincarnating work? Do I start from level 1 and redo every level to where I'm at (soon to be 13)?
Any suggestions/help on a build would be fantasic. TYIA
If I need to supply any other info, np.

Do you have 32 point? What about tomes? Do you have any other preferences for how you want to play your paladin (Intim, self-healing, evasion, extra feats, etc)?

28 point build. Did get the +2 tome and do like to self heal when in a pinch (love Lay on Hands or whatever).
As far as play style, the less thinking involved the better off I am. I just want to hack and slash things up. Whatever can make that optimal without me dying a lot (don't die too much now) so I'm not a burden to my party, they better. Also, I would like to be able to shoot meteorites out of my weapon if possible.

Since u have 28 piont builds....palis r kinda difficult to build, they need to many stats.
But here is a nice sample THFing builf for u, zerg kill stuff, use loh's , lotta fun.
human palidan
16 str All lvl ups here
8 dex
15 con
8 int ( u can take one out of con an put into int if u choose to)
8 wis ( +2 tome which u say u have, an +6 item =win)
16 chars
feats
toughness
power attack
thfing
imp crit slash
impthfing
gthfing
I prefer extend onn palis
and the last one is free
skill pionts umd/balance/jump
hope this helps
go hunter of the dead till about 14, then swap to knight of the challice

You talk to Kruz the reincarnation dude in House J - and give him your wood heart. When you log off, your char will have a "Reincarnate" label next to his name. Click it and type the char name, and you will be on an airship at level 1.
Talk to the girl on the airship and level up, selecting ability increases and feats as you go. Your AP's will accrue during level up. Tomes will be applied automatically at the appropriate level. (If you ate a +2 tome you will get +1 at level 3 and the other +1 at level 7...which is nice).
When you are done, you can spend all of your action points on the boat, or talk to the captain to get sent to the Marketplace. Then you can talk to any pally trainer to spend your AP's.
Good luck! :)

If you haven't bought the Heart yet, and can afford the extra TP's, get a Greater Heart and go to 32 point build.
I did that with my original char (also a pally). Have not regreted it yet. :)

Tried looking up the Greater Wood in the DDO store. Didn't come up. Did I look it up wrong or is it in game only?

Hmmm...never looked up stuff outside of the game, so I am not sure.
I would definitely log on and look for it ingame.

If you're like me, then you don't have the option to buy the greater reincarnation because you did not unlock the 32-pt build, which comes after reaching 1750 favors.
I'm trying to do all the low-level quests on elite to get enough favor but 1750 takes a whiiiile. I'm level 17 and only have ~1000 favors.
Try to find a Bloody Cleaver in the Lordsmarch Plaza, it's a great weapon. The 15 temporary hitpoints combined with the ~30% critical hits of the Falchion and the Divine Sacrifice enhancement line works wonders (get Divine Sacrifice as high as you can).

So, no greater res for me. That's ok.
And actually I have 2 Bloody Cleavers. How neat is that? Any way I could use both of them? Any other suggestions on builds or comments on the one posted? (TY for that, btw)

I am gonna suggest u DO NOT build a 28 piont twfer, u will be very dissipionted, alot of ppl don't build twfers till 34 pionts...but r duoable at 32.
So what i am saying is grind ur favor out get 32 piont build then try for advanced build, the one i posted in this thread is probally the easiest to play, gear, an lvl. But its ur ddo so u can make what u want :)

What server are you on, and how much favor do you currently have?
I remember hitting 1750 favor on my original char, but honestly I can't remember the level range at which it occurred.

Cannith and am at 890 favor.
Was talking to some people today and they said you can get GR long before 1750 favor?

That's only if you choose to purchase the 32 point build with TP.

This^^
The nice thing is if you buy 32 point builds, they are unlocked across all servers. :)
