Although the DDO store has announced sales on drow, rapiers, shortswords, healing, extra character slots it seems that at least drow and the slots are still listed in the store at full price.

Don't do it, it's a trap!

Seriously, Drow is unlocked at 400 favor. That might seem like a lot, but you'll have 400 favor pretty quickly in DDO and your first couple of characters are pretty much disposeable while you get used to some of the pitfalls of DDO character creation and figure out what kind of play style works for you.

perhaps you should fix the problem before proclaiming it's fixed..

Hi guys, apologies for the sale issue. We had thought that this was resolved, but as you've noticed, it hasn't been. :eek:

Don't worry. I finally figured out the promotion.

It has nothing to do with Drow or slots.

For what its worth....don't buy drow. It is one of the worst deals in the store. There is about 2000 favor between L1-12, it is almost impossible NOT to hit 400 favor by the time you are L6-8. Don't give them your money for drow, it will unlock itself in no time at all.

Also keep in mind that in 95% of builds you are better off with a 32 pt <something else> than a drow and thus if you want to pay for faster unlocks, pay to unlock 32pt builds instead.
