Apparently I have a set of U7 handwraps and the bonus to my SF isn't stacking. Is there a way to fix this other than fusing the wraps with something else?

I think you have to craft them into the upgraded item IIRC. That being said, you might be able to just pop them into a stone of change, doubt that though.

Nope :( On the plus side... Vampiric Stonedust Wraps are pretty awesome! Just upgraded my busted Stonedusts to Vampiric and am very pleased :)

However if you use The Mantle of the Worldshaper, a Pale Lavender Ioun Stone, Scarab of Spell Absorption, or anything of a similar nature then the Vampiric effect of the Vampiric Stonedust Handwraps will use up every single charge before it begins healing you.

I just tried these out last night. The most game changing item I've ever put to use in this game. I may never PUG again.

Yeah, no kidding. Leveling a 0 AC 12 Fighter/8 Monk at the moment, and breezing through at level quests without drinking a pot and staying at full health is redonk.

Don't you need to get a new pair?

Or was that just for the new Stone Prison DC?

Most beautiful part with the handwraps on that build is that when you fire off your haste boost you're actually boosting your healing. It's insane! Hit the thing with Curse of Healing for even more craziness.

Really? I have to test that.. Thanks for the information, I think I am losing some charges without noticing it...

I really dont think they are that great. They arnt bad. But stuns land better on +10s and icy bursted stunning 10s kill faster. The healing is nice but the faster you kill it the less damage you take anyway.

I think the Vamperic Stonedust Handwraps are excelent for the level range. The being to lose that effectiveness around Amerath or so. They definatly are very powerful in the mid levels 12=15 or so. Especially in conjunction with the light side healing curse strike. They truley allow the monk to go through an adventure constantly near max health. The stoneing effect is a welcome addition to a monks crowd control as well.

Well, I don't have any stunning +10s, let alone icy bursted. This is on my first monk so these wraps are amazing compared to the rest of my wraps. Before getting these I was struggling at times in parts of the Attack on Stormreach chain (granted I was level 11 as well). After getting these (at level 12) I breezed through Siegebreaker solo with no problems.

Seeing the Stone Prison proc on undead is always good for a laugh. I haven't used them in the Sub lately, but would be interesting to see if the proc works on the living spells as well.
