Thinking about TR'ing

Ok so I undeleted a 19th lvl drow pali for nostalga sake (ok I thought she had a chattering ring), anyway I am thinking of tr ing right away. So my question is, if you had a character who has no raid gear, what would you tr into just to get the extra points in creation?

1/ Pal Pre life is very nice.
2/ ..and gratz that you didnt find a chattering ring aswell. since AC is kinda mutt at endgame it will make your next decision a bit easier.

Who benefits from your past life?
Chanter-melee bards, fighters (the rogue revised "monster" build for example.), rangers (AA who melees is pretty hot nowadays imo)

battle wizzys, but I woud love to have some gear before making that(eurm..gimp)...

The Palladin past life is awesome for a fvs with the free healing capstone and also a barbarian. TR into what you want to play, but if it were me, I would either do barbarian, fvs, or another palladin life before going into barbarian or fvs.

barbarian or FVS?

Barbarian = Lacks feats as it is. 5% heal amp isn't really the cookie now, is it?
FVS = the popular Melee FVS is in my books just fail. Melee clerics I understand. 5% heal amp = not needed on this class either..
