It's not the first time I point out one of these, and I will continue to do so because I find it really lame to try to take advantage of new players lack of knowledge to get a few more $$$ out of their pockets.

So, thumbs down for today's sale (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?&postid=3657672#post3657672) that claims that "Ability scores (...) help you open locked chests", and thus you should buy tomes to be able to get more loot!

(obviously I know there is some truth in this statement, but a new player could understand something very different from the truth)

The helps you open chest seems to be the one that will cause the most problems. Because the round about way it could help someone open the chest. It fails to mention the fact that the individual needs a rogue level, skill points into open lock and that open lock is associated with <attribute skill>.

Would have just been better had they said: "Permenantly increases ability scores. Be stronger, healthier, wiser, smarter, more nimble, or more charismatic." Less confusion.
