Yeah tell me about it! The first buzz I get in 3 years and it was gone in minutes! :(
*sigh*

Oh well, I guess I'll have to plan a night and do fun drinking games with my husband or something.

You know i dont want to sound all dramatic and all but its a good thing that the neighbors reported it, Carbon monoxide is not laughing matter esp in enclosed spaces where people are drinking as well.

Kind of sucks how it killed the party buzz tho.

Bah! We had someone in our building who decided to heat up their stove and keep the door open to heat the apartment. Caused the CO detectors to go off and the fire department to show up.

One day later, we lost two pets due to CO poisoning.

yes, well it was due to his dumb ass putting motor oil and karosene in the oil tank to heat his apt. who the hell does that?!

Ok well I'll give you the jist of it:

Was having fun drinking with my husband.

Buzz kill when fire department shows up to check for co2.
My neighbor upstairs had put motor oil & karosene into his oil tank to try and heat his apartment. That mixture caused a big clump to smolder and the fumes circulated in his apartment causing his girlfriend and their kids to get headaches & stomachaches.

Guy in upstairs is now getting evicted.

He could have killed everyone in all 3 units. Thank god my 2 yr old son was away with his grandparents last night. Although, I had to bundle my 5 month old daughter and take her outside while they were checking the place.
