Kobold plushies

I had an ace idea, get someone to make Kobold plushies and when you squeeze them they have a box inside that makes one of the kobold miner quotes. before i finished telling idea to flatmate she said she would buy one, as would I.
What do people think?

I think it would be nice to see certain things from the game turned into a plushie. Provided that they are not over done, and marketed just right.

Correction... pleather being the pants most people that were high school in the 80's had a pair of... you know the ones i'm talking about. *shudder*

As for the plushies. I'd probably buy one if it had a selection of 6 or so of the quotes to choose from. Some one got me a bug that has about 5 quotes from Y2K.

"Kobold still hate you" and "Kobold family eating fresh rat tonight" would be 2 of the one's I'd love to hear.

I was more of pointing out that the ones to give a green light in this situation would probably be Wizards and not Warner Bros. (edit: )Considering that the product could be confused as being licensed to sell actual D&D material/content.

I know a lot of people who play DDO who would buy something like this, but I wonder how many new players it would bring in.

If they put them in stores, with something like a free month VIP subscription. How many people would see them in the stores buy them because they thought they were funny or something like that, and give the game a try because of it.

I think it could be a great marketing tool.

peoples response has been great so far just wish the idea was out before pax east.
They could also do limited edition characters ie Baastuul, Velah, Fred, Risia Bill and the festival Jester. a whole heap of possibilities are out there.
