Kormor's Belt Needs to be removed from the game!!!

Greetings my loyal Koopa Troopa's of Ghallanda I am BowserKoopa King of the Koopa's and Lord of Awesomeness here with a plea to the dev's (not really but let's pretend)

Seriously, this item has no practical purpose, sure it can give people water breathing, protection from elements and maybe a barkskin. But it can also......dance people against their will!!!!

I mean really what sick twisted sadistic kind of person would put such an item in the game? And beyond that who would intentionally use this item to make someone dance at a critical point in a raid? It could cause failures it could cost someone 1kpp in repairs it could even make people hate a certain guild full of people who happen to enjoy making the best ranger ever dance in front of the most epic monster ever Velah!

I mean really dev's how could you put this item in the game. Although now that I think about it, it does unintentionally let the bad guys win....maybe I'm on the wrong side of this request..... on second thought.

Everyone loot a Kormor's belt dance people all the time everyone join in! Bad guys rejoice the hero's are killing themselves!

This just in Ravensguard has also been reported dancing people including fellow guildies nearly every chance they get. Coming into abbot, in tiles, in roids, in front of dragons, horoth, suulo, demon queen, well lets just say it's a dancademic! If you spot any of them remember to cry on the nearest shoulder and join the petition to stop Kormor forever!!!! Unless of course your having fun then please continue doing so.

I looted one the other day and promptly asked the SORC if he wanted it.. I was suprised when he said, nah looks kinda ordinary... when I told him what it did (the extra 400sp aside) he accepted the gift, only to dance me just as I was jumping down to the vendors when we recalled outta the Battlefield... was sooo funny, nothing like hitting the ground dancing so to speak... :D

So the moral of the story is....lighten up, its a game!

There was a time in the Undermine quest when a friend of mine was setting the mines in places. I had hit him with Kormors twice before and he didnt notice, but it didn't dance him...third time, he got Danced right after he set the bomb down. Oh, so much fun!

On a slightly more serious note though, I do use the belt for self buffs on occasion, immediately after shrining or stepping into a quest. I might just get lucky and get a true sight or a protection from elements on a melee character...or I just might dispel bear's endurance and dance myself :cool:

From the makers of every other random junk loot you find in dungeons.
It makes sense how there's no item crafters in stormreach, they all died from survival of the fittest.
After all, if the adventurers of ages past had any good loot they wouldn't have died and left all that loot laying around for the finder.
Good news is that soon enough we'll be able to try our skill at crafting to amend that once and for all.
And even then it will still be as with cooks, since a cook must eat his mistakes.

anyone who's ever been aboard the captain's crew ship knows good and well the power of the kormor's.

we for a short time had the training dummy planted on the top deck for practical reasons (more people to see you beating it, they'll come help/clickies regen while on the top deck). it got taken back down below a few hours later after it became apparent that ANYONE attempting to beat the dummy was immediately imbued with the Endurance of a Bear, the ability to breath underwater, and... of course.... the irresistible urge to do nothing but prance about in place.

Actually, it does have a use...

Used it in an Epic where we had no Rangers and the Intimitank wanted Bark. We all clicked our belts and eventually she got a +5 Bark.

Firstly notice how his Grouchiness Lord Bowser even in the opening part of the OP states 'here with a plea to the dev's (not really but let's pretend)" Not really but let's pretend hmm...well this seems to be a case of the sarcasm and wit my Lord Koopa is known for, lets examine further.

Well my koopalings this again smells of sarcasm, i mean 1kpp in repairs everyone knows with the billions of plat we made from those dowsing rods we made that no one would really complain about 1k plat. Also we learned in this thread that apparently rangers can't dance so why would he even say he saw one dance.

I'm actually rather disappointed in myself because I accidentally wore madstones into the velah fight for that dragon we just completed and was thus unable to defeat Paleforce with my belt.
