I don't think these fights are supposed to be about who is actually stronger - more like your favorite between the two.

that said I still like Lailat better.

Hm... Overpumped raid boss or suave pirate with a final trick up his sleeve? As mentioned, this is about picking favorites, not who would win in a arm wrestling match or a tavern brawl. For me, I may go with the under-rat if I think they're cooler... er. Underdog that is...

When threatened, Lailat invokes some incomprehensible deus ex machina to warp to The Land of Make-Believe.

Meanwhile, when Ratty is threatened, it turns out he's not really a rat, but actually a wizard-- I mean ogre mage. The last time I remember this happening in a popular fantasy setting, I didn't get to kill the rat OR his owner. In the sentinels series, I get to kill both. Tew is by far the more satisfying villain.

Both are awesome villains. I know I was surprised by Ratty the first time I saw him (on epic!, had never done it prior).

Can't help but vote for Lailat though. She's a stylish, terrifying villain who I really want to fight. Her 3-5 minute fight is seriously threatening, and requires careful play to avoid having the healers overrun; while the 3-8 minute fight for Tew and Ratty is just a surround and beat, with a few mass heals thrown in.

Ooo, this is a toughy.

I really like Captain Tew and Ratty, they are an awesome combo and one of the best things in the already great House D chain.

But Lailat is just so well endowed...with swords. She makes a great opponent to fight.

So looks like I'll have to (reluctantly) pick the snake lady just ahead of Tew and Ratty. (Can't I choose both as a favorite? lol!)

Lailat: Yes we got her! Oh you're kidding she was an illusion. But I'm almost out of spell points... Well here goes... Whew that was fun. Now for the raid. Running around the outside of the circle "where is she where is she" jump jump run heal heal jump run "see how my enemies prance around like jesters" HOW DID SHE KNOW? Use scorching ray! "I am war, I am destruction" Ray isn't working! Oh god oh god we're going to die we're going to DING.

Barb got her before dying. Pant pant. Any raise? No? Oh for... Barb opens torc. Why? They should put a shrine in here. Darn. Release.

And now, there's even a shrine. And it's still tough at level, and well voiced. Fun.

DQ was the first raid rangers were actually a viable choice people WANTED so my vote goes to the DEMON QUEEN!!!!
