You guys have the social floor, the billiards floor or the bowling floor? Curious minds are wondering....:D and are they enforcing the dress code about hats...

WOOOT. I sent my request in. I could careless about PAX but am willing to travel to Boston for the Party and the chance to say hi to all the poeple responsible for making 5 years of DDO possible. How long til we know if we are invited or not, need to make reservations, but dont want to do so if I am going to be sitting out in the cold

I would love to be there, considering the 11th is my birthday. But, alas, the company I work for will not allow me the day off...

Ditto. Also curious when responses go out. I'd like time to plan out things so I make sure I get the most out of PAX and this.

Getting the same error here. :\

Hmm...I didn't get that message (and judging from the PAX poll there shouldn't be nearly enough emails to crash the email server). Should we all resend emails just to be on the safe side Tolero?

okay, tried sending again, and no error this time.

Here's to the party rockin'!

Would it be too pun-ny to also hope it would be 'roll'ing?

Will they be making drinks from the Official DDO Drink list?

Still they be making drinks from the Official DDO Drink list?

I am not certain that you would want that. Some of the Necropolis drinks sound down right nasty:

1) Blood Pudding. (Actually a dessert)
2) Witch's Brew.
3) Zombie Juice.

Hmmmm....

Can we please get a clue as to when we might be getting an invitation. I am traveling from NJ to attend and really would not want to waste time or money if not invited. Please... just a hint

The invites will start going out today :) (we'll be hitting our twitter (http://www.twitter.com/ddounlimited) account once we're done sending out all of them, but regardless they'll show up in email so check your spam filters!)

With legs like yours, pants are always required.

I received the email....but it seems the image on it was unable to properly attach itself to the top of the email. An image exists as an attachment but seems to lack anything that would be identifying it from any other.

Will this be an issue Tolero?

I can forward what I have received If you wish.

[The only reason this was posted in the forums rather than in PM's was in case anyone else had this issue]

Hope you guys all enjoy Boston this weekend! Unfortunately prior engagements keep me from participating, but perhaps next year Turbine can pick a better bar to hold their party at?? Miracle of Science (http://miracleofscience.us/) is a pretty cool place, but small. Boston Beer Works (by Fenway and North Station http://www.beerworks.net/html/about_home.html) has better food, beer and scene then Jillians (and less D-bags, but I wont go into my thoughts of Jillians :) ) and Four's (http://www.thefours.com/) was voted the best sports bar by SI a few years ago. Personally if I'm going out to a sports bar in the area, I'd hit Sully's Tap or The Penalty Box.

Hope the weather holds off, Boston is a great city to walk around, just dont wear a Yankees hat or a Canadian's sweater! If you have an afternoon free, print off one of the free guides and give yourself a self tour on the Freedom Trail.

I'm not really a bar guy, but Jillian's did seem like a big, not the best bar when I got in. However, the main party itself was held in a private room in the back. It was pretty nice.

Hey Turbine,

I had a great time at the Party! especially since I won the lord of the rings blu-ray set! and I even won the D&D movie set too (only if I parted with the lotr blu-ray, but I just could not do it;) ). Anyway just wanted to send a thank you note! I had a great time! and the swag bag was great for the hauling around PAX swag.. Thanks!
