Way Too Easy!

In 6 hours of grinding this new content I have made my hat 15 perform with seeker 6, which I must say is great. It fully rounds out my bard and I no longer have to swap my torc for a perform necklace. However, I had to craft it. That being said I cannot believe they have dumped this event down more than anything they have ever done in the past. I "BOUGHT" 4 scimitars,2 suits of armor,2 ratkillers, 1 ring, 1 gloves, 1 shield, 1 dagger. All in 6 hours, NO CRAFTING NECESSARY. Now sure you don't have augment slots, but seriously? And to top it off they are all BTA! AND you don't even need to run the 6 man raid portion to get any of these items. Not one requires anything but dubloons and a few of the stolen diamonds or emeralds to buy any item at lvl 20.

Your items are still epic fail items . Get them upgraded properly to be actually good items then come back and complain it was too easy .

BtA is great. The base items are somewhat easy, but the final tiers are somewhat too grindy, so I guess that evens out somewhat.

The best part of the event? (No, not the items, nor the kobolds yelling about not ever forgetting what you did to them in Waterworks): players have no excuse to not have heavy fort on because they don't have the pack or can't afford it. This should go a long ways to making pugs a bit better, at least for a while.

Nah people will be running around with pirate hats with seeker on and not have any fort at all :)

The lv 20 items are not epic items, the good stuff is the fully upgraded versions.
People like shinies so find the named items good but truth is you don't really need any of them.

The casual player will be able to get an assortment of level appropiate items for once, without much grinding.
That you can spend the day farming doesn't mean it is needed, it gives wide room to get what u need.

The fully upgraded items are another matter entirely, and you can still get them if you do enough coves.
But you can only get a few per day and you are still able to get one of each.
It is a good thing they are BtA because it'd be boring to do endless farming to make copies for multiple alts.

The items you need on every alt is multiple hats, to dress for the occasion.
And yes, this include having one heavy fort hat. Poormans minos is only 150 shards even soloing u can get that.

I would not call it an Epic Fail Rat, the FUN FACTOR for this event is through the roof.

However, the easily attainable loot might have repercussions down the line...
