Care to give examples to try and get an official response, or just ranting for the sake of ranting? Preferably I hope you are willing to give examples of what was changed so that we can get a direct response.

There's another thread that mentions it, with a screenshot.

not sure who kust is, but your point is invalid without any evidence or anything constructive accompanying your displeasure.

Expect resistance from the "screenshot or it didn't happen" crowd.
See you were supposed to know they were going to change the skins without telling anyone. You should have known to take screenshots yesterday before the update so you could do before and after screenshots for the armor kit change that no one knew was coming so you could satisfy the "screenshot or it didn't happen" crowd.
Otherwise it didn't happen :-p

this. I'm at school atm and cannot sign on to check my own toons, but I spent quite some time previewing the various colors and styles - its not like theres all that many anyways. the changes would be obvious.

Yes, I bought the only armor kit that even remotely interested me, log into day and POOF I'm presented with a totally new look I had NOT paid for and WOULD NOT have paid for.
Good JOB turbine, once again making leaps and bounds to **** off the people who PAY you.

Anyone else /bug it or just gonna rant unproductively here?

ranting is more fun :P
I really don't think its a bug, have any of you bothered to check the ORIGINAL outfit? It has also changed.
Edit: Apparently only DT's were changed... the kit applied to my garments of equilibrium have not been altered(same kit) so now i DO think its a bug.

Personally... I think an armor kit should only be available 2 or 3 months.... Then maybe again after a few years or so... And they should add new kits every month... I would love to see everyone actually looking a little bit different....
FYI.. OP they didn't change the armor you purchased... Just made an optipnal of a differen't color (black).... For those that purchase your kit in the future.... I like it ... Now.. Half the toons in game don't all look the same anymore (DTArmor)..

Here's the rub: I kind of like SOME of the changes. But they shouldn't be mandatory. Instead, offer them as an extra option - the new Leaf 2 should be Leaf 3, etc.

I do not like it. I did a fashion show twirl, found what I wanted and paid real world cash to change how my girl looks. To go back in and not warn or offer us a chit to change armours is wrong.
They want to update how things look they should offer already paid for armour a free change. As it stands I will never buy another one.

Well, as a pretty new player to DDO and a VIP membership holder, I kind of find it deplorable that yesterday I purchased an armor kit for 250 points (half my VIP allowance) and log in today to find it totally different.
Can I get my 250 points back somehow? They've certainly given me something I didn't want and I didn't even get a full days use out of it.
The red one doesnt look so bad in the After pic I link below, but the lavender one has turned the white karate look kit into a horrendous lavender outfit. :-(

There was a reply in another thread that a dev is looking into this. Once they determine what the issue is, then you can figure out your course of action. If they say that they are keeping them as is, you should be able to file a ticket to get your points back. They changed the functionality of your purchase after you made it. They've given me a refund like that in the past, but I had to press the issue.

This.
To change things that people bought already is really bad form.

It appears to be a bug and the Devs are looking into it.

I can see where this would be irritating for situational complaints however armour is going to appear in the majority of screen shots; either of you or other members in your party. If you take screenshots at all (and I know I'm an outlier having a dedicated button on my mouse for it) you are going to have shots of your armour.
As an aside don't most people take screen shots of there characters on a quasi regular basis? Especially for armour kits where they show up in the character selector screen it is very easy to get well lit 360 degree views of what your armour (and helmet) looks like.
