Armour kit changes?!

Can't recall which one I went with previously on my Monk, but it was primarily a white robe with lavender trim. Looked very fitting for a light monk, which was why I splurged and chose it.

Now it's red, lavender, and gold....

WAI?
If so, that's pretty unfair to change something *after* we've spent the TP on it. Especially given it was a cosmetic item that we chose based on HOW IT LOOKED.

Don't get me wrong, the new colours don't look half-bad.
It's just, I paid for a certain colour... and now it was changed. That's a bit wank :/

Yep, I purchased the same skin for a character just the other day and noticed the change when I logged on. Instead of that nice white color it's all muddy now :confused:

Pretty bad form to change stuff after we've already paid money for it, IMO.

Aside from the fact that people should have the colours and designs they paid for, which is bad form.

The color change to leaf armor seems more intentional. (And I actually don't mind it so much. I rather like the way the lavender looks.)

The change to Gold Crest and the dragontouched style of outfits seems like a bug. I noticed on Lamannia, but I didn't think much of it.

the DT vestments of my rogue and FVS look different now with the armor kit I originally bought, and I do not like it one bit... I demand it be changed back or refunded.... the armor kit on my pallys DT heavy armor looks the same though!

I haven't bought any of these kits yet, but I was wondering...Is this the time where I can demand an ultimatum from Turbine and threaten to quit if they don't do something for me? I've never done one of those so I'm not sure of the rage-y etiquette.

That sure has to be a bug. I don't see them arbitrarily changing something like that without notice. Good that this post will let them know about it. Still waiting on the inevitable "They haven't fixed it, they broke it on purpose, they hate their customers so I quit" post in here or elsewhere.

It looks like Dragontouched outfit only got affected if you have a kit on it. One of my characters with a stock dragontouched outfit remained the same.

I did put a preview version of the Leaf 2 kit on Icy Rainments, and those took on the full coloring we're seeing now.

So, my conclusion is that the pieces of outfit missing is a bug, but the changed colors of the sashes for leaf armor is intended.

But just to remind everyone, the most efficient way to get GOOD data to Turbine so they can assess and correct this issue, is through the bug reporting in-game system.

You can put what you were, what it turned into, what was the original armor, and all of those details in a clean easy-to process form so they can cross-reference and see what happened.

Erm, it's pretty much been proven here on the forums that bug reports either get lost or are so backlogged they don't get seen half the time, unless something's changed recently. Devs have come on the forums before claiming to have not been aware of very prolific bugs, that many people claim were reported extensively through the bug reporting feature.

On a side note, some interesting colour combinations have resulted from this, and not all of them are terrible.
My new red and gold outfit isn't all that bad, but if it were red and black or a blue and black outfit, for instance, that could be quite nice! (hint, hint)

up side my chain got its look, so that got fixed, and looks nice, like the look. But shouldnt DT being leather and a cripple chain, being a chain look different? I dig the rogue looking outfits, but ones purple, eh, and ones red :)
