Hi everyone, I haven't played the game in a year and I've never had a char higher than lvl 8. I'm ftp and just bought the 32pt build. I enjoy playing a dex rogue and have plenty of skills so here's the build I came up with. I thought going assassin would add in more damage while hopefully still being able to handle most traps with proper equipments. I'm not really considering end game at this point just hope to enjoy the leveling on a char that can be decent in both party and solo. I would appreciate if some experienced players let me know if it looks good for my needs, thank you! ^_^

It looks fine overall. Everything important is there.
Some comments though:
* It's best to go neutral than chaotic good. With UMD, you will soon be able to use pure good weapons. At higher levels, not being good prevents you from being hit by unholy damage and allows you to wield unholy items. Being neutral lets you use greater stability items.
* You can't eat +1 tome before level 3 now, but it doesn't change anything to your build.
* I find your int a bit high. I would put 14 since you like skills (otherwise 12 would have been enough), and raise str to 14.
* Ppl usually put only 1 pt in Tumble; however the big flips look nice. Bluff is nice when soloing, to aggro a mob without drawing all the pack, but I don't think you need to max it (you could put an item to boost it when you need). The basic effect that lets you SA while you have aggro isn't very useful in my experience, because the animation is very slow.

i would drop INT for STR, tubmle and listen for some more points into balance. enhancements look ok, but i would drop something for at least two ranks in halfling guile/cunning. maybe skill boost I, faster sneaking I and subtle backstabbing IV. and you could take haste boost earlier.

I like tumble, but I'm in the minority. I certainly like it better than listen.

Tumble is nice for getting out of trouble in a hurry. If you're a good twitch player, you can tumble out of combat faster than you can back out and that could save your life. Additionally, the lack of damage when falling may not seem like much but those 10-20 points you're losing could make a difference if not healed back up.

It's certainly not a game changer and it's dead last on my list of skills I like but with 10-12 skill points per level, it was easy for me to half-rank it.

Although you a finesse character, you still dont wanna forget strength it still extremely important.

Unless you commit yourself to using either a Dex or Int damage modifier weapon. Not that I am recommending such an action, but there are folks that might consider that.

Thanks alot for the input everyone! I'll change to true neutral and I'm considering lowering dex 1 point to give it to str, that would put me to 14 str at lvl 3 with my tome that I already have and of course I'll do my best wear the best str + item for my level and eat better tomes if I find them.

I still want to keep my int the same tho I might put less ranks into tumble to help balance a little but not much. I really have a good use of all those skills and it would hurt my fun factor if I take less. Btw I didn't put any points in listen I'm not sure where the bonus come from.

I didn't know there was Dex or Int damage modifier weapons that sure would come in handy. Thanks again for all the comments! ^_^
