Greetings All!

Have been playing for a few months now and decided it's time to find a nice guild to call home. A bit about myself to start with. Middle aged (old to you young ones!) slave to the working world, married and the only kids we have, have four legs and fur, or two legs and wings. Casual player, try to log in everyday during the week for a min of an hour, and weekend as work, weather, and the boss allows. Mostly run solo during the week, I don't feel it is fair to join a group only to have to go afk to tend to life or work. Again, my weekends are more open and do enjoy grouping and guild activities then.

Have been gaming for many years, and still miss my C64 and Archon. I can provide a resume of sorts of my online gaming trouble making if needed :)

Don't use voice comms, talk enough during the day, I'm here for fun and relaxation after all! Well and the fact that my overly sexy voice would be a distraction to everyone else! Joking!!!

What I'm looking for in a guild... casual fun loving bunch, low level of drama, tolerant of adult humor, knowledgeable and willing to help when asked (i dun not be very smarts in the head) No "you have to do this" kind of things. Here for fun, and when it becomes work, it loses it's fun factor. I do enjoy to rp when the time and mood allows so a semi-rp guild would be welcome but not required. A guild a bit higher up would be nice but again not required. Have leveled up my own little guild here to 14 so I can certainly appreciate all the work that goes into it.

Thanks for reading, and I apoligize in advance to any guild that accepts me! *insert sly grin here*

Oh, feel free to contact me here, or most likely on Anyed or Axeanna in game.

Cheers!

*EDIT*

To answer a few questions that I've been asked, not a fan of PvP, get enough of that at work. However, it can be fun in friendly circumstances as well as equipment and build testing.

Account is VIP, and I like it that way thank you very much!

Please don't be offended if you send me a tell and I don't reply. During the week as I mentioned is a hectic time for me, and quite frequently I can be seen AFK typically at an entrance, or at the barkeepers! And I do have lots of shiny objects on my desk at times, easily distracted :)

Well Afterdark is pretty close but we do tend to be ventrilo base. we are pretty laid back bunch for the most part. We don't do any PVP in our guild we find it a wast of time and most of us have a life. I am the guild leader and I am 48 so its not a bunch a kids we do have members of all ages but this a guild where folks with family is the norm. No one ever get upset when real life get in the way of game play.

I did get your mail about the invite but Voice is getting more important to us every day. So I am hoping the guild will be 80% Ventrilo so we ask all members that have them means to get a mic working in about 30 days if there is anyway they can. We have never removed anyone for not getting mic but we are pushing that way. We do have some that don't speak English as a native tong so we let them slide on the mic thing as well. The other reason is I hate typing !!! I don't text in real life so I don't sure as heck do it in game. Now I could offer you to try the guild for a bit and see how u like it and hope that when u make your mind up to stay U get your voice up.

We are a newbie friendly guild easy going and fun loving bunch and have member playing all parts of the game from start to end game.

If you fell this could work for you send me a mail in game to Vixonna and I will send a invite out right away

I didn't see if you mentioned what part of the world you are from, but if you're from the states then the Guild "We do not run thru dungeons" Sounds like a good one for you to check out. They have plenty of players that don't use mics and its pretty much 80%+ mature players.

Laid back non-zerger none pvp people.

Just an idea for you :)

Thanks for the replies!

Located in the Midwest, and usually play from 6pm to at the latest, 10pm cst during the week. Weekends vary :)

I'll think about your offer Fearless :) I will certainly let you know one way or the other.

Another reason I stray away from voice comms is that all four of our furry kids are either pure Beagle or half Beagle. They all like to hang out in the office when I play and can get VERY vocal at times. Of course it doesn't help that I encourage them, so consider it five howling hounds :) Push to talk is nice for blocking them out, but if ya can't hear what anyone is saying to begin with, doesn't help much :)

well not using the mic full time is not so important it having one when most needed during raids and complex runs or that key moment some yells TRAP
