I just got my 400 favour on Saturday night.
I cannot stress how much I regret not having them earlier!
330hp a pop in max heal amp gear (For me, missing Finger Necklace) on a WF or 300 while in DoD...kept myself alive without outside healing on the Devil and Marilith bosses in Bastion, and the Horned Devils in New Invasion and Genesis Point.
Cleared the shrine in Sins with yellow/red alert when my guildie PM Wiz and 80+ac Ranger died.
Go and get your SF favour folks!
This is the reason I put points into int/cha and use Oremis Ring now (gave up on Kyoshos after 55 ToD's).
Do it!

So what missions do you have to do to get them? Also what packs do you need? I'd like them, as I'm really annoyed at the lack of points recovered by the "serious" healing pots. One of my biggest nitpicks in this game.

You pretty much have to do all the Catacombs and Necropolis quests on elite to get the 400 favor necessary. You can miss a few but not many.

Pretty much every Silver Flame favour quest - Some House P, All of Necropolis packs.
I have every SF quest on Elite except: Demon's Den, Abbot, Tomb of Tormented and maybe 1 more.
I was lazy and it took me ages to get it done, but it is very liberating and has pushed TRing into a WF Pally out of my mind.

I have Necro, but not Catacombs. I'll have to get that one. It sucks that the only decent hp pot you get lowers all your stats by eleven, so even when you get them you can only use them outside of fights.

They actually changed that.
They lower all stats by 10 (except con) for 30sec.
The lesser healing potions heal for 100hp.
The standard healing potion heals for 250hp and gives -50% movement speed. However a hasted, sprint boosted barb still moves at a reasonable pace.
You can keep drinking the SAME type of potion indefinitely every 3 seconds, it just resets the 30sec debuff.
If you mix drinks, the debuff stacks and becomes -20 to all stats except con.
I am buying each 250hp pot for 438pp each in haggle gear. They only stack 10 per slot in the inventory.

Because wouldn't it be better if we could drink a pot and get maximum HP without any side affects? Then everyone could play barbarians!

Just to check, if you can bank a whole bunch of those pots for any TR'ing that you do in the future, right?

Right. We wouldn't have to wait for a healer, or down fifty pots when we're low on health. Jeez, the other MMOs with auto healt regeneration have good restorative pots, but you don't even need them often. This game gives you pots that restore about twenty hitpoints for 900 gold a pop. Though at least you can get mercs for soloing or easy quests.
It's not a huge deal, but just a nitpick I have.

Yes that is correct, both Silver Flame potions have a minimum level of one.
What's really nice is that you can do the same thing with Yugoloth potions as well.
Yugoloth (http://ddowiki.com/images/Yugo_Essences.gif) and Silver Flame (http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&q=Silverflame%20Healing%20Potion&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1036&bih=499) images as a source.

Yes they are ML1, but they only stack in quantities of 10. Would be good to save for those super zergs through 16-20 quests.
Most classes will be crippled by -10 to all stats. Barbarians will still be in the 50-60 str range. I was still cutting down Devils and Orthons while chaining SF pots.
Paladins get LoH and healing from SP, and a good potential UMD.
Rangers have SP healing and a lot splash rogue.
Fighters can splash rogue for UMD, or even get no fail UMD without splashing
Half Elves can get no UMD heal scrolls by lvl 11 or so.
All the above classes do not have a native rage preventing UMD or clickies. They can use cold shield, displacement scrolls etc continually.
Add in the fact that most players do not have SF favour for the pots, and I do not think they are overpowered.

I used the sf pots for TRing my barb. Was wonderful... no1 believed me when i joined byoh groups ;)
I tred with 700+ pots in my inventory. still got 600 at cap (in my tr bank ofc). Since my barb is human, its enough to eat a full tome set and use the litany to not become helpless when drinking a pot. The new ship stat buffs help a lot as well. The pots are really worth it (even when when it cost me nearly 400k pp to get the 700)

All of low level F2P, Necro 1, 2, 3, Catacombs, and the four Orchard quests on elite come to just under 400 Silver Flame favour. You'd have to do either In the Demon's Den (cas/norm) or flag for and run Litany to break 400. There is a total of (if I remember correctly) 456 Silver Flame favour in the game right now.
If you've run Litany and Abbot, you can drop some of the more hated quests in Necro 2/3 or Demon's Den to get 400 more easily.

U13!
3 (or 4?) Silver flame quests at level 16. That "should" be about 75 more favor, minimum!
Can't wait to FINALLY get my SF pots!!!!!
Sorry for the necro, but it had to be said!

I was unaware the new quests were silver flame based. I might actually go for those pots then if I could pull it off cheaply. Only ever bought necro 4 pack.
