I find it a struggle to fit a striding item into my kit sometimes so I thought it was a bit odd that there was no option to add it to a slot, maybe yellow.
Anyone else like to see this?

Since you can add essentially everything else to Epics you really should be able to find a slot where you can use an existing striding item.
How easy do want it?

I don't see how giving us more customization options is a bad thing. They may not be hard to upgrade, but it certainly takes time to gather the tokens

I really don't know why some people have to be so negative about a simple friendly post.
You can only get striding on boots and rings (afaik) so, if you have say, two ToD rings and some Shroud boots for example, you have to recraft those boots to fit in striding as opposed to just adding it to an epic item.
It seems totally harmless to me.

Not to mention that we're only talking about Striding here. It's not like this is a request to add +2 Exceptional Stats or Shroud Guards to the colorless slot options.

Yes, thank you :)

Personally I don't bother with striding on a permanent gear setup. 300 Haste potions, and carry a set of striders to switch to for running around in town or for running to DQ1/epic Chains of Flame.
I'd recommend crafting an Air/Air haste clickie as well. Takes a lot less to farm/trade for a GS blank and 3 of each small and medium than it does to farm 30 epic dungeon tokens, but it will serve you better everywhere except those rare places that you are chain-dispelled like Coal Chamber.

I have resigned myself to just carrying around a set of striding boots. It takes up an inventory slot, but that is not that big a deal to me. They are just plain ol' 30% striders, but they are useful. Since Madstone boots have 20% striding on them, and I usually wear them, it is only a minor boost to my speed, but in some situations that 10% is nice to have, like running from upper Necro to House D or something.

Not true you can put striding on dragon touched armor as well

My arcanes don't wear striders just so I'm reminded when the rest of the party needs haste ;)

OK, I'll re-phrase... You can only get striding 30% on boots and rings (afaik) and, yes, I do find it odd that the DT striding is only 20-25%.

Striders? People still wear these? Expeditious lev 10 wands if ya wanna run faster, or haste clickies or haste from the bard/wizzie/sorc.

Options are always good.
I wouldn't mind a longer-lasting-than-Haste potion option either. >.>
