I'm going to be frank *snickers* with you. I'm not exactly sure what you said. Therefore I'm going to cover the bases.

Option 1: You completed a VoN.
Response: Congratulations.

Option 2: You did not complete a VoN.
Reponse: I'm sorry to hear that.

Option 3: You pulled loot useful to you.
Response: Congratulations.

Option 4: You did not pull loot useful to you.
Response: I'm sorry to hear that.

Option 5: Puggers dropped from a raid.
Response: Damned dirty puggers.

Option 6: Puggers died in a raid.
Response: Damned dirty puggers.

Option 7: I like DDO!
Response: As do I.... as do I.

Option 8: VoN is hard!!!!
Response: Practice, grasshopper. It will come.

Option 9: ??????
Reponse: !!!!!!!!

I think that about covers it. Feel free to 'craft your own adventure' per se, and select the response most appropriate.

I *think* what he's saying is:

I did VoN and we won - someone *else* pulled a named docent but I was the only warforged and they looted it anyway and now I feel cheated!

On that note... time to learn it now....

Option 1) Someone else got an item in a chest I wanted but didn't let me loot/roll for it and it went to (them/someone else/vendor) which is totally BS!

Answer: If you don't pull the item - it's not yours - no matter what. If someone wants to offer it up - they can do whatever they want (ask for cyberz/plat/put it for roll/etc.) - note that the following list are all 'community generally accepted' standards:

1. Loot it yourself
2. Give it to someone else without offering it up for roll
3. Offer it up for roll but only to friends/members of your guild/rangers (pick any qualifier)

Generally it is only considered unacceptable to request plat/favors/(name your 'do this for me to get loot' poison) for loot.

Even in very large loot drama threads - if someone gets an item and they loot it - generally people accept that they have a right to do whatever they want with their items.

dude has a smilie in the post name, I think he's happy with the overall outcome of the raid, therefore I'm guessing a congratulations is in order and I hope more happiness is in your future endeavours

If I may, a TL;DR option?

Option 10: Someone looted something I want!
Response: That is unfortunate. Feel free to try again.

So perhaps its option 1 or 3? Or maybe option 1 and 3? That would be nifty.

Sorry guys was typing on my phone.
The make it short and sweet
We won Von 6
We were short of 5 man
There were people in the group that were new to the quest
some named loot drop
But the most important the feeling of killing velah but close too a wipe was soooooo cool

Wasn't. Complaining regarding that docent I didn't get it and seriously I don't care because the main idea of my previous. Post was to tell how great the feeling was!!!!

Well I accept that "your loot is your loot", taking bound raid loot you clearly cannot use to vendor it is not good form. Not forum drama worthy but I would avoid that person in the future.

Based on the OP's follow up post he is happy with beating Veleh shortmanned and not worried about the docent. Good job, OP! Beating her shortmanned is a nice accomplishment.

I think #8 would have been good with them also

Congrats on that, it's always nice to come back from a near wipe. Seems lately von groups either have the dps to take her quickly, or better have some players with an actual reflex save and evasion, because no one wants to call her inferno.

There's not much you can do after it's pulled, but that's something I would have sent a tell to them just to ask about. Maybe they plan to TR, maybe they thought it was BtA.

A little verbose, let me shorten this a bit.

Option 1: You ran a VON.

Option 2: ???

Option 3: Profit!

I know he's somewhat explained what he was trying to say, but if I may be so bold. Here's what he meant his last sentence to convey:

Velah went down ...... Wow the feeling was so good. Even better than when I got my first named item out of a chest

Congratulations Frank. The tough wins are the nice wins.

To the OP: Congratulations on your success and completion!
