The bracers from Reavers Fate are always nice, and it would free up one of your hands for a Green Blade or Skiver.

There is a cloak from VOD also which has +15 perform on it which is nice too.

I think he means "Gauntlets of Eternity" which will grant Greater Healing lore.

For equipment , if you are sitting in for the primary healer or CC can't go wrong with the abbot staff. An extra -10% off your spells which stacks with Trance can make SP go longer as well as any peice of equipment that lowers your 'primary' meta magic feats. The top 3 are Extend , Maximize and Empower heal. You can find Extend and Maximize on Glacier gloves from VoD as well one of the two from each Bard set. I think Virt has Extend and Warchanter has Maximize.

You'll want the Bauble to give a nice large transfusion of SP into you after a while. Also can't go wrong with Epic Dynstic Fal or Epic Eyld Edge for when you aren't fitting in as primary for eather role, to provide a little DPS to the group assume you have the HP to survive heavy combat or battle awareness.

If you don't want to use the Abbot staff or the Gauntlets of Eternity , there is also the Green Blade from DQ with a 'high level' of Arcane Lore. Idealy , you'll be using one of the 3 bard neck peices from Shavarath which has Sup pot 6, as well as one of the belts which has a Superior clicky for Cure spells for when you need an extra 25% kick in your healing.

That is about all I can think of a top of my head.

Those are nice. You can get a decent healing lore on a GS item though if you want to drop the possibility of adding Wiz 6 or +10 HP. More if you would want to skip a different tier in crafting.

Also tehre are some nice ToD necklaces and belts that you may find helpful as well. If you are a dmarked halfling the draconic set (more dragon mark uses) from there would be a good goal as well.

2 x items not mentioned above that i would recommend.

1. The Torc, if you fight at all, it's outstanding, the sp proc has a good percentage chance, you will really see those sp add up (in particular when a few archers are peppering you), it has the greater spell pen 6, which is great for a bard, and wizardry 3, which is a bit meh, but 2 out of 3 outstanding qualities is about as good as it gets.

2. The Glacial bracers from VOD. The cold shield procs quite a bit, and reduces all fire damage by 1/2 when procced, in addition to adding a very nice damage guard, and we're talking about a m/l 13 archmagi item here. That's 200 additional sp from lvl 13 onwards, very, very nice for a bard.

Coit out~

The Torc , yes is nice. But that is required to put you in harms way, and messes up with a few of the good healing stuff like if your are Dragonmarked Halfling or using the Dragonmarked set with dragonmarks (Finding is only other one I can think of that you'd want more of the greater mark.) Or any of the 3 bard sets.

I'm somewhat liking the Levik's , gives you +6 str as well as 20% boost to incoming healing.

And... as the GS if you do it on Tier 1 as DasLurch says that just gives you Healing Lore, the Gauntlets of Eterninity are 9% crit chance with 0.5 increase in crit power.

very good advice on equipment already..

now to try to add some more.

Sky vault shield: large shield with 0% asf (looks verry nice too)

If your in a medium or large guild get something that carries a
large or medium guild augment slot that will give you another 50? to 80 sp

gloves of the glacier -4 max -2 extend (could use for buffing then switch out
to eternity gloves.)

bards cloak because.. well it's a cloak meant for a bard :D!

head of good fortune : bards have lots of skills so head is a worthy upgrade
to the voice once you hit 20 and have no need for exp anymore.(+2 to all skills and saves)

The mad lute : i mean its the best looking weapon in the game especially for a bard.

epic dynastic falcata : cha atk and damage modifier.. and 40 charisma for an avg spellsinger need i say more ?

Eardweller : +2 enchantment spells and 200% healing clicky good look getting it
from all the casters/healers in your party tho .
