Reaver bug?

A person i know swears that you can get thrown up in reaver while you have fly on and that it's happened multiple times to him.

I disagree having run thousands of reavers myself and many guildies agreeing.

In the interest of fairness i wanted to hit the forums to see if this has happened to anyone else and if it has why isn't there a post about it?

So please chime in on either side yes it can happen and has happened to you personally or no it can't happen.

Nope, never seen this happen in a couple hundred runs.

I've never seen anyone with Fly get thrown up either. I've seen the bug where he throws everyone up, but they don't come back down a few times. Even with that bug, anyone with Fly was immune to getting thrown up.

Ran one this weekend...in fact and was in the middle fighting with fly....lost another player to the spikes...but those with fly didnt go anywhere.


So the answer is....no you cannot be thrown up with fly......if your fly runs out and anti-gravity is in effect....you will fly..but not while you actually have fly.

I get bumped up about a foot when I have fly, but I never go any where.

I think your player doesn't know what the fly buff looks like.

Never, ever had the antigravity effect me while flying.

Never had anti-gravity affect me while under the effects of the fly spell.

Never once have I seen the reaver eat anybody and throw them up! never, would be cool tho!

Gotta admit that when you are flying (meleeing the Reaver in the face because you can) then suddenly the rest of the party shoots up towards the ceiling is pretty amusing. So no, when you have fly, you dont move during anti-grav.

Ran rever about 100 times in total and never been thrown up while I have fly.

Never got thrown up in the air while having fly spell on me.

The only bug I encountered there was when feather falling worked when falling back down to the ground, happened to me maybe twice.

just to add to your statistics,

I also have never been effected by the anti gravity once I have fly.

......... I havent run reaver in a week and a half or so however so..... I cant comment on any recent change.

When i have fly u dont move when the reaver does throw up. So no never seen this bug.

Between my 2 accounts, I have run reaver close to, god help me, a thousand times.


I have never seen, nor heard of this happening in any of those runs.
