Somebody bought all the small and medium Glowing Arrowhead from the AH and reposted them overpriced. I don't know if that's a goldfarmer's tactic or just a broker who can't suppress his bad habits while gameing ;)
If you have some Arrowheads to sell please crush the monopoly so this trick won't pay off. If the arrowheads can't be sold with the overrated prices, our powerselling freind won't make a dime.

This is a common way to make some coin. OFC the initial and new price of the item and trhe quantity we are talking about do matter as well.
For example, if he brough all the smalls for 20k and reposted them for 30k then GL to him however if he reposted them for 200k then that is a rip off. But if he brough 10 for 20k and reposted them all for 200k and sells one then that is his money back.
It is risky and can lead to big losses as well as big profits.

You could run the Shroud and get them for time spent..or buy them from me.. I have over 200 of every small and medium...

This happens on a very regular basis and seems to be plat farmers tryng to speculate their massive pools of plat into profits. They really went ape s**t after the gold to plat standard change. Portable holes Ings and tomes seem to be very popular targets... Not too long ago they were listing portable holes for 200k they were buying them up as fast as they could for 30k it apparently failed miserably because the supply of bid only listings was too much for them and people kept bidding 25-28k and not buying the 200-250k ones... at one point there were literally 60=80 of them listed for 200k or more. Of course a real player would know better, collapsed portable holes are mostly bought by newer players (Or at least relatively newer) who don't have a stack of them, and need that 2nd tier coin lord favor backpack tab... even 25-30k plat is a hardship for them, so at too much higher they simply don't buy

yes that happens in any game....
resellers/hackers/scammers....
maybe its just me but i sell smalls for 5k each and mediums for 10k and CPH for 15k each
+1 tomes 10k and other stuff at whatever prices....
if u r ever low on small/med shroud ing....let me know....i just got my rogue back to shroud farming again....
i sell on the 1st of each month (march will be next)
resellers prolly love me and hate me too.
specially when i sell stuff really low and then pull +2 holy wraps stun +10 for 80k BO in AH with the pp i made from them....
there is nothing from the shroud i need cept larges for now....so any ing for sale and shards for sale or roll....

thanks again for the offers. got a little help form my freinds allready. but these resellers realy anoy me. when i started ddo i sold most things cheap, cause i wanted to get rid of everything i didn't need fast. and i thought it would be nice for the other neebies to have some affordable stuff to buy. i don't care much about the plat anyway. now it try to set the price hight enough, that the item won't be resold an hour after i posted it. anoying....
At least we don't have bots here in DDO... anyone remembers L2 or Aion?
There have been bots in nearly every area of the game, farming gold 24/7.
The prices became so incredible high, that You didn't even had a chance to gear up without buying some plat.
For the DDO auctions, try not to go with the: "I must have it NOW! At once!" mentality.
If those guys haven't sold their overpriceish items after 3 days, they will probably go down with it.

This tactic fails because others are willing to undersell him. Bet he ends up with a bag full of arrow heads.

Thanks for bringing this up. I'm newer and had no idea about these tactics. I suppose the AH "take" helps keep this in check a bit. +1 rep to counter...
