I have started hooking up my laptop to my HDTV (running 1920x1080) and the resolution has been fine; all of my programs and my desktop run at that resolution. I boot up DDO, and the maximum resolution I can get in the Options Panel is 1280x1024. It runs at 1366x768 on my laptop monitor. Any help/solutions?

Thanks everyone!

you can go in your Dungeons and Dragons Online directory and edit the file UserPreferences.ini

In there you'll find the following lines :

[Display]
RefreshRate=Auto
AllowFakeFullScreen=True
Resolution=1920x1080
FullScreen=True
TripleBuffering=False
SyncToRefresh=True
AllowWindowResizing=True
Antialiasing=8x
ConfineFullScreenMouseCursor=True
WindowedResolution=1280x1024
AllowDesktopCompositing=False
ForceFakeFullScreen=False
ShowIntroMovie=False
[International]
UseIME=False
[Troubleshooting]
EngineSpeed=VeryHigh
MaximumFrameRate=121

the one you want to set up is the Resolution parameter.
I haven't tinkered with it since ages, but I had to set up the screen resolution of a laptop that way.... 4 years ago...

1366x768 is widescreen aspect ratio and your HDTV will presumably only offer the XGA formats of 1280x1024; 1600x1200 or 1920x1200.

Check with the HDTV manufacturer to be sure, but your laptop graphics card may not be able to go higher than what is presented to you anyway for 3D display (check the technical specification from the Laptop manufacturer's website)

What TV do you have and how are you connecting to it?
