I've been wanting to try out an all Pale Master raid group with certain specs to see if it would be the unstoppable force I think it would. Among some of the more obvious spell/equipment choices, these would be the 'requirements' for my experiment:
12 Pale Master Wizards in undead form (6 Lich/6 Wraith)
12 Summoned Hezrou (Or 6 Air Elementals and 6 Hezrou)
12 Skeletons (Blackbone or better-3 Archer/3 Mage/3 Knight)
Spells required-Death Aura and Negative Energy Blast (Necrotic Bolt enhancement for SP conserving ray gun) Other spells used as necessary, but the ones listed are specifically for aoe healing and SP conservation.
That appears to be a very formidable group (An army of 36), even if not played to perfection. So long as the enemies can be hurt by negative energy, what could possibly stop this wave of death?? :D
This leads me to a few questions:
1) Are there improvements that can be made to this specific idea?
2) Has this been attempted before, and if so, were the results satisfactory?
3) I went with all undead form PM group, what other armies can we come up with, staying within the boundaries of everyone being the same character class and having identical abilities?
