Do not expect a hireling to toss you a heal during a battle. For some reason developers decided that level 20 hireling healers do not need quicken.

For that matter, lower level hireling healers do not have quicken either.

It is PAINFUL to watch a hireling start to cast a mass heal and see something as minor as a chain lightning (which hurt the players for less than 20 points of damage) disrupt the healer. And yes, the hireling was buffed.

Umm don't they have a concentration score?

This is horrible, and if I was in game with a player like this you can bet I'd be teaching them all about what quicken can do, or increasing their concentration.

Nothing funnier than watching my hireling run through a room of mobs to try heal me after I told him to stay at the door. Couldn't we possibly add in some instructions that say, "stay put, cast if I'm in range"?"

Or maximise, extend... etc.

I'd like a command line interface through party chat e.g.

<hireling name> maximise [on|off]

Or a drop down list from the main hireling bar.

Honestly hireling healers are better now than 50% of the players out there. I have a bad feeling making them better, or giving them metas. I'm serious now.
