DDO Devs on Vacation?

Wondering if I missed anything. Noticed there's been very few DDO Dev posts since Xmas, LOTRO Dev posts seem to be going strong, so it's not a company wide vacation.
Just curious if anyone knows if ours are away somewhere.

It's not a vacation, it's just poor customer service. It's on Turbines mission statement.

This is getting a little old now..

Odd numbered updates take a long time. (1,3,5,7,9 for those with English issues.)

This is because they often change *systems*, such as combat, crafting, spells, etc, rather than simply adding new content. They're the "big" updates.

Even numbered updates come shortly after their preceding odd-numbered updates (2 follows 1, 4 follows 3, recent 8 follows 7, etc.)

These are minor bug fixes, but mainly focused on the implementation of 1 new P2P content pack. Other changes will occur, but the content pack is the highlight

Expect Update 9 to take longer. Paaaatience.

I am eagerly awaiting a dev post about combat changes maybe we'll get a nice post from eladrin about upcoming spell changes.

Hmm, yeah not really complaining or trying to call them out, just noticing that there seems to be (to me anyway) ongoing Dev posts from before/after Xmas in LOTRO , where ours kinda seem to taper off around early to mid December, with very few since, and those only really dealing with sales of the week, the new monster feature etc.

If you ask me this is the perfect time to level that toon you've been neglecting or TR your character back to 20 (again). No new content means grinding is more attractive and your guildies won't be distracted by shiny new toys.

Remember when the longest time without an update occured in DDO? It was after Mod 8. We went over a year between Mod 8 and DDO:EU with very little communication.

Sooo...what was our last update? Update 8.
