I am getting close to capping my WF FvS, and I plan on TRing him as soon as I can. I am stuck between the choice of paladin and monk. I have several weapons created for both classes, though as a FvS, I have more greatswords than wraps, but I do have several of the nicer lower level wraps. I am just stuck on which class to choose.

You really need to give more information. People can tell you what they enjoy playing all day long, in fact it's all over the forums, search...
If you really want good advice, you need to give some information about what you enjoy, your playstile, grouping habbits, what ever, so people can give insight as to which you might enjoy more.

Didn't think about that when I posted.
I prefer to group to get quests done, but then there are times when I just want to run by myself. When I do group, I want to be able to contribute as much as possible to the group to make it as succesful as possible.

The flavour of the month is certainly a balanced light path monk. Qualify for Void Strike IV, Grandmaster of Storms and be Strength based and you will have a character which excels at both solo and group play.
My personal favourite at the moment though is a Half-orc wisdom based light path monk with still a high enough strength to be able to hit everything, the DCs you get on your crowd control will make this an awesome character, particularly for epics.

well both classes fit in well there, in many ways in general terms paladin and monk is kinda likewise, but when you go look at the finer details that where they begin to differ, but if anything when your choice is between paladin or monk if you go with monk you probably want to go light path, since it brings some healing capabilities and small buffs nowhere near as good as pala though but then you get evasion coupled with high saves. Also monk is one of 2 classes i know that get a SP usage reduction buff (the other being a spellsinger bard) and even here monk comes out with a greater reduction of a whooping 25% but for only 1 min like most other of the buffs (well all other except for void:light:void finisher that last for 10 sec only). but paladin sure has some nice buffs as well and much more of them but monk can more easily spam theirs since ki goes up during fighting where pala SP only goes one way and that is down. so yeah it kinda hard to put the 2 classes differences down "on paper" since the diffs. kinda lay in the finer details. and if i ever now should go play another class i would likely go pala

well shouldn't be to hard to make a paladin that excel at both solo and group play either really
