Just wondered if anyone else gets really tempted to have a Marshall Bravestar moment and shout "Strength of the Bull", "Wisdom of the Owl" etc over voicechat whenever they or their party members get buffed up?
I dont think you and I have the same definition for Old Cartoons.
Yours sounds like something from the 80's.
Not what i consider Old or Classic...and there are two R's on the end of Bravestarr.
And No to your Original question i never enjoyed any of those.....older animation is meat and potatoes.....especially thr violent ones.

This appears to be the cartoon, BraveStarr http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BraveStarr
However those exclamations reminded me of the older Arabian Knights cartoon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabian_Knights which contained a character called Bez would could change into a large array of creatures by exclaiming "Size of a Camel" to become a camel and so on ...

I still remember and love old stuff like the original (and proper) X-men cartoons, Centurions (Power Extreme!!) and the first Transformers cartoons.
The new stuff is meh. :)

I think I remember that cartoon, was it a segment within the old 'Banana Bunch' tv show?

At least you don't yell, "By the power of Grayskull!" when buffing a pally or "Kabong!" if your bard's about to go Honky-Tonk Man over somebody's head with a lute.
But thinking about it now, the oozes in the sewers remind me of Gloop and Gleep from the Herculoids...

I think of dancing buildings and really odd motions, and B/W when I think of "Classic" cartoons

Yes, I remembered it as a "Banana Splits" segment too http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Banana_Splits and used this to help me track down the cartoon using Google.
It was a very fun cartoon and Bez's shape-changing declarations often resounded around my primary school's play ground during breaks.

I am just hoping there is a bizzare sword with a clicky of truesight somewhere in the game. Altogether now "Sword of Omens, give me sight beyond sight!" ;)

Eh... maybe not Marshall Bravestarr - it was a bit too late and quick to leave a mark with me much.
But I do find myself thinking of older toons when buffing up and such.
...
Different times.
