Bah I remember posting a thread to the store sub forum and got crickets chirping, so I posted it to general and got a couple hundred views and a couple dozen replies in 20 minutes, before they locked the thread and chastised me for posting duplicate threads...

Of course I am smarter now and know to post such threads late friday so it can go unmoderated over the weekend.. just like certain people save their flaming/trolling posts for the weekend.

Moral of the story: only post to general, the sub topics (except class discussions and servers maybe) are mostly useless.

Oh and save anything juicy/controversial/off color for the weekend "free for all"

Back to the topic... as misguided as the OP might have been cross posting, the question is valid.

I was about to buy some 5k points, but the turbine cards aren't there, the only way available now is converting through a series of virtual currencies, feeding percentage to the companies involved, eventually getting way less points for the dollar. (Not to mention missing out on the bonus points.)

It really is sorta funny. Most of the times I try to buy something turbine seems to be all like "No, please, don't give us money, go away."
