Don't go into Feather Falls Apothecary on Sarlona!!

I went in and all I got was a dark green screen!

I cant move, and can't target anything, so I logged out. Came back, and still stuck in the same place.

I then /stuck and got out, and like a dummy, I went back in to see if it would load this time..

Well, it didn't and now I'm stuck, and because someone was sploitin /stuck, I can't use it again for 24 hrs!! Thanks a lot whoever that was!!

So, I'm going to get a CSR, just consider this your PSA of the Day!!

The CSR said he could see me inside, and I was moving when I moved. He suggested I reinstall :p

Thanks, he got me out, and I'm doing a repair on the game..

I'll go back tomorrow night and see if I still get stuck then I can /stuck out again. If it does happen, I'll go ahead and reinstall, as its been a year or more anyway.

EDIT: Oh gee, there is no real "repair" option like in other games.. Hmm, guess i'll start downloading the latest version.. heh.

but no you would rather spend hours re-downloading and installing and not even trying to contact a GM. Just come in to the forums and complain.

In the amount of time you spent posting, responding, and dealing with the CSM you could have easily slashdeathed out of there after stripping all your gear off. Alternately, you could have slashdeathed WITH all your gear on and run a quest - any quest - to pay for your repairs.

The only way you would have to slashdeath 200 times is if you went back in there 200 times. I would refer you to the old cliche saying, 'Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me seven or more times, shame on me'.

I really like how people only read the first post, and don't see what had been posted after.

It only took a few minutes to get a CSR and he got me out quickly.

Its NOT about the money, I am level 17 and have items I would like to not be damaged at all, or again! Why should I roll for damage when I'm not at fault? (and I didn't have room for all my gear) again, it WASN'T my fault why risk damage?? ***???

I was trying to warn people that there may be a problem, but I should have waited I guess.. Must be MUCH better to let people go into a server hole than wait it out and make sure its not.. Ok message received..

I kept playing until the game downloaded, uninstalled the old one, and reinstalled.. took maybe 15 mins after it was finished.. I GAINED 3 GIGS of space.. Old install was now over 6 GIGs and the new one is just over 3..

I went back in tonight and everything was fine.. MAYBE someone will find this thread helpful in case something like that happens again.

The correct answer is not to respond, let alone name call, but to instead fill out a bug report and leave the thread after posting a warning.

As for the repair option, talk to any general vendor to repair.
