So I've read a number of posts about people losing airships...anyone get them back?
If so, how long did it take?
What about the paid by TP items that may have expired while the ship was missing?
I have to say this GM response was not very encouraging:
Thank you for your help request. We are aware of a service issue related to what you have reported, and are working to have the issue resolved as soon as possible. Official updates and additional information will be made available on DDO.com if necessary.

You gotta love the official updates if available for your current problem are on the website/forums. I was told that a few times did a few searches and none of the issues i contacted a GM about are here or ever were.

Considering ships and amenities are paid for with real cash(TPs), this is a it of a problem to get less of a Turbine response than we get to ladder bugs.

Of course, it would be so easy for players to track things like ship purchases and amenities if they were given a monthly statement. Much easier to build your case as to their actions and to lay the foundation as to Turbine's breaches with consumer purchases.
I mean, Turbine would never take advantage of players by counting on them to delete e-mails or see them lost in the mist of spam filters or organize and keep them to track their activities. After all, revenue generation is the least of WB / Turbine's concerns when it comes to players. Right?
If these claims on an individual basis weren't so small, Turbine would probably be more worried about litigation. As it is, a pervasive problem might be worth a class action suit in the right circumstances. I give no benefit of the doubt to Turbine here - the whole TP system has stunk and will continue to stink until they create transparency. But why do that and then have to reimburse players for things like ... lost ships?

Well doesn't Turbine have to use real wood and other magical stuff to build those amenities? They would go broke if they had to replace all those amentities off of ships that you people lost. Skilled carpenters are expensive are the magical crafters. You act like they could simply replace them with the stoke of the keyboard. Get real man. T
Its a good thing Turbine will let our entire guild play for free until our ship is returned.....NOT

Ouch sorry to here that... every patch we throw it on and test it again and nada.
These are the type of bugs that anger me. How hard is it to QA the Planescaller and not put it in the store if it doesn't work?

Ok maybe we can do a little more troubleshooting for Turbine.
Did any Guild who recently lost their Airship buy the Planescaller from the store and then report it as not working?
Any other issues with your ship before you lost it?
Maybe if we come up with a common ground we can help others from losing their ships in the future.

This is what happens when you park your ship in 3BC and use the washroom.
your lucky they only took the ship, you could have found all your guildy WF up on blocks!

Here's an update btw, in case anyone has the same issue. Overnight we got the ship back for an hour... except it wasn't our ship.
Right ship type, wrong ring/ship/interior colour, wrong amenities, couldn't talk to the first mate. In other words, it was a copy and paste (probably literally) of another guilds ship. It was only available for an hour then it disappeared as fast as it appeared.
Its an interesting insight into the way Turbine performs troubleshooting - "just mess around with the live environment and see if anything good happens".

Nah, buy one. This obviously doesn't happen a lot or the forums would be awash with threads about missing ships. I'm sure Turbine have their top men working on it.
