Joined a party only me and two others at first. Obviously a playing couple (husband/wife or??) seems one had voice chat on active and did not realized it. Wife keep telling husband to keep his hands to himself and get the party filled or would be sleeping on the couch after the quest.

Had a guy start going off on a rant about red Commie Chinese Jews and how they're ruining the world. After a young kid joined the group, who sounded like an ordinary American kid.

Not the dreaded Red Commie Chinese Jews!!!
The blonde ones are the WORST! :)

Once heard a party leader, who obviously didn't know his mic was on, explaining to someone else about how he was going to have to single handedly drag this pug through this quest since he knows most of us and we are all gimped.
Also once heard a guy pass up sex for the last half of Tangleroot. The end rewards are nice, but not THAT nice.
Edited to add that I happen to be a Red Commie of Jewish background (at least on my mother's side) and trust me I am not taking over the world today. Also, one in five people in this world are Chinese, and I have five kids. I'm not sure which one is Chinese though....it's either Tyler, Em, Becky, Sammi, or Lu Peng.

I've heard things that would get me banned to describe in even the vaguest and most general ways possible.
However, nothing beats the classic of a guy who snores falling asleep with an open mic. :)

We played with one guy who obviously pushed to talk everytime he coughed or cleared his throat. We kept telling him, and he promised to "fix his mic". Sadly, his spluttering continued, much louder than the dying grunts and screams of the giants as we felled them X(.

guildie often uses VOX rather than "push to talk". About midway though a late night quest I notice he is not talking and shortly thereafter the party hears obvious key board having something heavy but fleshy land on it noise and the mic dragging across keys.
yup, passed out. His character was running against a wall. Phone calls were not answered but we could hear him snoring so we were not worried about a "rock star" end.
We completed. He later said when he woke up some 3 hours later DDO had logged him out and he missed the loot.
We were all very understanding and certainly no one mocks him every time we start a quest now.:p

Sounds like you were in a pug with me and my wife... ;)

In the early days of the game I recall reading a post about a group that had a member using VOX when he got served with an arrest warrant in the middle of the quest.
It may be Urban Legend but was interesting reading.

About once per week I'll hear someone get chewed out. Then they'll usually say "AFK" or "BRB".

Not the worst but the most recent.
Guy joins my ETK zerg/byoh/ip run last night. After not being able to get out there he turns to comedy while we are doing the end fight.
He says to me, "If it makes you feel any better Im a really fat man and I play naked."
After getting me enough time to let the visual set in he says, "Oh I just found a chip in a roll, I think its a Dorito!"
I assumed he was joking but the visual was a bit overwhelming, I wish I had squelched him as soon as he joined...

The most embarassing one I've heard of is from Lotro... During a fairly long quest one of the guys in the group started breathing loudly into the mic (and other sounds I will not mention here). Once the guy stopped someone said "Those elf chicks are really hot eh?"
He logged off instantly and according to a guy in his kinship (think guild) deleted all of his characters shortly there after. :D

Just heard at the weekend:
xxxxx: "BBL guys, I'm gonna go solo my girlfriend!"
yyyyy (not listening): "Do you want some help dude?"
<mass laughter>
yyyyy (defensive): "What?!"
After one of the most annoying PUG runs I had ever had the misfortune to come across, I started describing to my guildies in Vent with a five minute expletive laden diatribe why I would never PUG again. That's when I looked at the keyboard only to realise that I had the teamspeak button pushed, not the Vent button. OOPS.
Strangely, none said anything from the group.
