Bard Songs as Ringtones! :D

All right, if you look through This Thread Here (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=136211), .mp3 files of the Bard songs have been asked for. Tolero said no promises, but she'd work on it.

But... that was a while ago now. Like a year and a half ago, before F2P.

So, to revisit this topic : Can we have Bardic Songs please in .mp3 format?

If you would like to see this happen, please feel free to say "Yes please!" below :D

Wow. Those are really clean, that's some nice audio. How were those captured?

The sound files were extracted from the DDO client_sound.dat file (via something forum member Cedwin made when he was on DDO). They output as .wav and .ogg files, so from there I used Winamp to convert the .wav to your requested .mp3 format. The reason they are clean is because they are from the original sound files, no capture involved.

He extracted all the .wav files, and I pulled out all the textures and skins. I still have the source code for it somewhere around here....

You may have to refresh more than once, or hit it during a non-peak time of day. I'm thinking that MrCow's host doesn't like half the DDO Forums hitting his link at once. :D

Maybe try clearing your internet browser cache, or using a new browser? I've gotten to the page on two separate occasions at completely different times of day now.

The stuff is hosted from a computer in my closet. For whatever reasons, some folks have found themselves unable to access it in the past while others have no issue.

Try downloading on them on your phone. I couldn't dl them at my work (on either ISP there) but the data connection on my phone and at home worked. There's obviously something wrong with either the host's routing table or there's a key router down near the host. My traceroutes all timed out like a dozens hops down the road.
