Got to see the premier last night. Thank the Dark Six I didn't have to pay to see it. It was incredibly lame. Being in 3D didn't help its cause at all. It had its funny moments, but all in all it was a waste of two hours. Don't pay your hard earned cash to see this movie. If you must see it, don't pay the extra three bucks to see it in 3D.
IMO
I would like to thank you for not spoiling the movie for the rest of us who've not seen it. +1 for that, but now I think I'm going to wait until this movie comes out on redbox to see it. Can't beat paying $1! lol

While I appreciate the spoiler, I have to confess that it wasn't really needed. The trailer I watched during "Tron: Legacy" told me everything I needed to know about "The Green Hornet".

Hornet didn't show at my watching of Tron, but Green Lantern did. I'm sorry, they have Hal acting more like Kyle. I'm going to pass on GL till vid release.

Wait, Seth Rogen was in a stupid, unfunny comedy?

They trailored Green Lantern at Harry Potter. When the trailor was done, the crowd booed. Not a good sign.

I was looking forward to it also. I mean.. they have Hal acting like a teenager with teenager arrogance, not a professional air force pilot with the self assured cockiness that fighter jockey's are stereotyped with.
I really hate saying this, but I think they could have done better with Val Kilmer or even Tom Cruise.

The Mythbusters Green Hornet special convinced me to skip this movie. The clips they showed looked terrible.

Strangely enough, while the characterization and costume for Hal Jordan is off, the alien GL's look **** good. (Kilowog and Tomar-Re)
