Calling all adventurous artists! We’re looking for the best fan-made monster artwork! Send us your best drawings, paintings, and sketches of a DDO monster, and you could win Turbine Points and a custom title on the DDO forums! It could be as big as a red dragon or as small as a swarm of baby spiders, any monster from the game can be a creature for your canvas!
Turbine will accept emailed entries from January 4th through January 30th. Eligible winners will receive 1000 Turbine Points, a special forum title (“Sketchy Adventurer” or “Dragonmark of Making”), and their winning entries may even be featured in our Fan Art Gallery!
Click here (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=295075) for the official rules and tips on how to enter!

Request to Turbine: Design a quest where you can form up a raid against Trogdor. :D
EDIT: Darn. Trogdor-Ninja'd!! :D

Is it limited to DDO creatures or can we pull out a P&P Monstrous Manual (yes I am stuck in 2nd ed. get over it!) and choose something from there?

You'll want to go with DDO monsters for this one. But as long as the monster is in DDO it doesn't mean you can't use the MM version of it for inspiration :)

Still don't know what I'm going to submit... tough choice... thinking of some Giant or a Ogre... not sure which one would have more visual impact though...

Ive already done a picture..but after seeing the beauty above me.....I might have to go back to the drawing board. I can draw, but after scanning it in...it needs brushing like alot of old celebrities.
Something I think they should put into the game...Haywire is halfway there anyway....:)

He's been quiet for some time now. Who knows what kind of wacky hijinx Haywire's gotten himself into in his time off? Of course, it's always possible he's finally learned his lesson. But then again, he is a particularly stubborn dwarf and it hasn't stopped him before...

Well, glad to see you are still around.
And honestly.. the dwarf has learned anything? other than how to be more crazy and get results?

Well, the thread died many, many moons ago. However, Clanky wants to resurrect it one last time shortly before the deadline to say I have submitted. Yay. It only came right down to the friggin' wire. My submission will likely pale in comparrison to you artists out there who can draw "real" fiction. It is not my forte. My art style of choice is 'toons. (No, I didn't call my game character that.) Still, I can't pass up a DDo contest. Even if I'm not proficient, I might have rolled a natural 20.
So, now I have my feet firmly planted in the backpedals. I don't think I have a serious shot of winning anything with my B&W submission. I am, however, really looking forward to seeing everybody's submissions. Good luck everysbody!
